The world’s largest technology companies got hammered as concern about tighter US restrictions on chip sales to China spurred a selloff in the industry that has led the bull market in stocks.

TSMC took 11+ billion in grants/loans, then got additional land, but have done next to nothing with it. Why not take back the money and redistribute it to Intel and GFS who are serious about fabricating in the US?
