Sam is her father's daughter. They both have an ability to self-introspect on the spot when they are being confronted about their wrongdoings and apologize for them. These are good people.
But they themselves immediately forget all that two episodes later

Bickering and Arguments are inevitable in any relationship; family, siblings and friends, the important thing is to reconcile and not let it divide you
Daniel and Johnny are friends too now but Johnny still mad he lost to Daniel when he was Younger you could tell Johnny didn't want to do that to Daniel but he got Told to do it but glad sam and Tory are getting on well now well kind of I just hope at the end they beat the iron dragons 🐉 Cobra Kai and Migagi do can beat them if there both together
I always liked how realistic Cobra Kai portrays the kids in this series (outside of the karate matches and tournaments). None of them, including the bullies, are absolute villains. They’re just stupid kids that don’t know better or have a hard time. It doesn’t mean that they’re too far gone, that they can all find redemption and peace with time.
I think they go too far with making every bully have a sob story and redeemable. Unfortunately, some people are just diks from childhood through adulthood to the grave.

It’s really frustrating how blatantly biased the creators are towards Tory. They’ve swept all of her bad actions under the rug and somehow twisted things to make it seem like Sam is at fault. That apology scene, for instance, was written to make Tory look like the victim, which is absurd. This favouritism is exactly why Sam (and Mary as an actress) has received so much undeserved hate from fans.
it was sams fault she started it and they didnt sweep under torys actions she admitted that she was wrong but she also explained how badly sams action effected her
Actually this was them moving forward because they're going to much bigger threats to deal with as we've seen in part 2 & will continue to see in part 3. One of them had to be the bigger person and apologize. Yes, Tory took things WAY too far in her actions against Sam, but Sam was no angel in their rivalry either and I think the reason why they had Sam apologize is to show just much she's grown & matured since S1. At this point the only that was holding them back was their past with each other & once they owned up to everything that they did to the other they were able to let it go completely & become something stronger: A team & friends (which hopefully they'll be able to regain in part 3).

I think Johnny was trying to do with them what he did with Miguel and Robby, have them fight until their hatred was all out of their system.
Johnny was trying to solve the girls like he solved the boys friendship. It wouldn’t have happened. Fighting each other wasn’t their problem they had to understand why they were fighting. The boys already know why they didn’t like each other ( them both trying to date sam at the same time)
And the boys hated each other because of Johnny’s attention

This moment was heartwarming and I'm glad that they worked things out. I'm happy that Sam hugged her first and Tory accepted her apology. After they worked things out they really became friends.

I replay this scene as a reminder that forgiveness is powerful and a powerful form of love. I thank God for him revealing this scene to me. It’s so dear.
Both Sam and Tory share two halves of the same coin of the maturing in two very stoic teenage martial artist. (Their male counterparts Miguel and Robby are the same way) There friendships are the most complicated but the most rewarding and strongest.
I have a feeling Tory will get adopted into Sam’s family and they will end up sister. Sam is very protective of Tory if you haven’t noticed as Sam is slightly older.
I love the music in this scene. It does great in representing the peace between Tory and Sam. I hope I find the song name.
