Snyders justice league was OUTSTANDING. I hate how it all went down. I like dc more than marvel and i felt like the perfect cast with gal, henry, ben, and Jason. I just hope they make Teen Titans a movie. The titans show on hbo was really dope. For sone readon dc shows are geneeally way better than their movies
Think recasting and rebooting Superman was inevitable. Snyder and The Rock had the worst plans for Superman, Snyder wanted to do Injustice while The Rock wanted to fight and win over Superman. The Rock wanted to DC Studios to be Dwayne Studios, he wanted to steal the spotlight from all DC characters. Keeping Cavill in a reboot could be very confusing especially when he's so associated with Snyderverse, it's why Superman & Lois didn't use Tom Welling and Erica Durance.
The Snyder cut is worth every hour though. You absolutely should give it a chance.. its crazy how much the theatrical release was butchered and how much they forced weird humor into the movie. Snyder tells a cohesive story. And its split into parts so you can take breaks or treat it like a 4 episode mini series. I actually liked Man of Steel a lot. The only gripe I had was that Superman killed Zod at the end... Shoulda just stuck him back into the phantom zone. I dont think Superman should kill. He should be strong enough not to have to. Like he should have held Zod tight and flew straight up, covering his eyes with his hand. So many ways he could have gone about that. But other than that, I liked it. All that being said, I am looking forward to this new DCU. I like the idea that all the heroes are fully established. A part of me finds it weird how we are literally going to have two different Batmans at the same time, considering 2nd and 3rd The Batman movies are planned. I almost wish Gunn would just collaborate with Reeves to bring Pattinsons Batman into the DCU. I actually like his version of Batman, but specifically I find it promising as his character grows. Seems he'll become slightly more hopeful and more about Justice rather than Vengeance (as was the lesson he learned during that first movie). But I can understand Gunn wanting to create a new Batman entirely, especially if he wants a whole Bat family to be apart of it.

Hope he can bring back hope for the dc, i tried and couldnt watch batman, and i was too busy laughing at dollar store flash to really get into the movie. Too many bad dc films lately may prove to be too much to fix it. These bad movies have made the super hero fatigue dire. Marvel is struggling to but glad its no where near as bad. Hope this dieector can bring it back, snyder did good but wasnt enough. Flash they bombed cause they really should have worked with the tv flash. Havent seen a great superman movie really i mean the classic have their icons but i still dunno about great.
I like how you didn't mention andy muschietti (director of the flash )to fit your narrative for competent directors, and also having" faith in James Gunn" is not reason enough to get excited as he has done many lack luster films... also using what he has done for marvel isn't the same as what he is doing for DC, you see James only directed the guardians of thr galaxy films he wasn't president of marvel studios and there for didn't call all the shots this time he is paving the way for a rebooted ( except for what he made )dceu that nobody wanted

You made the title “this is why you SHOULD be Exited for the new superman movie” This says it all, the film is wack and nobody asked for this, also the title proofs that people are beyond angry about this the test screening people walked out and said to James Guns face “are you serious, you should of just restored the Snyderverse “ this proves that he messed up really badly and has no care in the world of what the people want.
Well .... Snyder's DCEU is dead. So if you ever want to see a DC live action universe, you dont really have a choice. This is happening even if you dont want it to.
