I've just finished my garden room which I could only do thanks to your videos, so thank you. I was super happy with it but unfortunately now I've seen those strip lights... the whole lot needs tearing down and starting again 😭
Lol, I watched the previous video and was hoping you'd post a more detailed planning for the lighting. We're now looking in to it for our own living room because it's such a nice clean look. Will make it continues but adjustable in sections as well. Great idea!
Shocked that you haven’t got a million subscribes yet. People are blind your work is simply the best of seen. Honestly I’m shocked at how good you are.
With a proper expert at recording and editing this could get very popular for sure as the information is there. However it is only about building Garden offices which is a niche market. If he had other videos on woodworking and specific how to videos he could grab a larger audience.
Hi, Is it best to vapour barrier before the OSB, if used on internal walls before boarding?? I’m building a warm roof annex… and wanted to do 11mm OSB externally, 50mmpir, 50mm soundslab - vapour barrier, then 11mm OSB then 12.5Pb for the walls Any guidance would be appreciated
Oh Bo//(#$, the mrs has just seen this and now wants them all over the bloody house 🙄 Cheers Liam 👍🏼 🤣 I'm pretending i don't care but i love them too 😉 Take care A team.
We supply channel, drivers and the LED strip www.ultraleds.co.uk/led-profiles.html#?Category0=LED+Profiles&search_return=all&Category1=Plaster-In+LED+Profiles
It was over the osb although as per a previous inspection report its redundant with the way he builds his rooms. He still uses it for peace of mind however.
What did you do for the corners of the led strip? Did you power it from 1 end or multiple ends? Did you use the corner connectors for the LED strip or just a short wire?
Powered two separate tapes from one corner and went in opposite directions, it kinda bends round the corner in such a way you can’t tell when the diffuser is fit
Another amazing detailed job!!
Well done Liam and team

Another good video.

Hi pal great job. I was wondering if you can tell how did you cover the led profile for skimming
? Thank you
I wish there was a builder like you near me ..I seem to find all dodgy builders in Birmingham
Great work! 👍🏽 where’s the transformer hidden/located?
Hi this is awesome can I ask what the brand name for the led strips are and was the a transformer for this located above ceiling
That turned out awesome and no disrespect but Jenny😍😍😍
Any information on the products used for the strip lights? thanks

Brilliant job guys where can you source the strip lights ? Does the track and lights come as a single package ?
best bet for led strips is aliexpress, but the aluminum profiles better get locally, you won't pay through the nose for shipping
Do you have a link for the flush mounted channels that were used?
Did you have to put another board on top of the profile edges again? How did you hide the aluminum?
Oh Bo//(#$, the mrs has just seen this and now wants them all over the bloody house 🙄
Cheers Liam 👍🏼 🤣
I'm pretending i don't care but i love them too 😉
Take care A team.
Can I ask what underfloor heating product and thermostat was used in this build?
Looks boss that. Top job
Any chance you can listed items for this led light system please? Thx
Hi, Where did you buy those profiles for concrete wall installation . Please post a link
👍🏻
Can you list where to get the light controllers and the smart switches?
What LED lights did you use?
Where did you source the aluminium channels and strip lights with wall mounted controller from? Thanks in advance
We supply channel, drivers and the LED strip www.ultraleds.co.uk/led-profiles.html#?Category0=LED+Profiles&search_return=all&Category1=Plaster-In+LED+Profiles
I’d like to know this as well I plan on using them for my media wall I created
@@MrLegend139 i think they are the same ones one LEDSpace. I have just ordered mine too
@@MrLegend139 LEDspace
I buy the saxby brand plaster in profile
What’s the make of the LED lighting?
Did you still add a vapour barrier to the ceiling over or under the osb?
Whats the max length per led strip light, 5m or 10m?
It was over the osb although as per a previous inspection report its redundant with the way he builds his rooms. He still uses it for peace of mind however.
Instead of the Packers, could you not attach the track to the boot of board you're lifting up?!
Where do you put the controllers and drivers? Just inside the wall?
Where is the control panel from?
Were did you get the ligth
What's the LED track makes please?
Is there a link to where to get them from?
Because they look great
Thanks
the client supplied these, we will definitely be fitting them in the future. ill post a link soon as I get it mate
Thanks for asking this question, and thanks for the positive response Liam:-)

Thanks you most excellent bloke :-)

@@thegardenroomguru thanks! So I imagine you twisted the led strip and pushed it up into the ceiling so it doesn't alter the light output? Thanks
There’s a hole cut in the track at the end of the tape, any excess is just pushed into the ceiling void
Why is that TV mounted so high?
Did you screw the led track to the wall and the ceiling or staple it?
Screwed mate, it’s in a video, OSB’d the wall and ceiling 1st
Jenny’s alright looking
Is the plasterboard fixed to the osb rather than the roof timebrs?
Yes it is.
They look the dogs danglies Liam
did you show how you installed the underfloor heating?
Unfortunately not, will do in the next mate,
@@thegardenroomguru look forward to it! your videos have helped me alot with building my workshop! keep up the amazing work!
Are this lights adequate to light up whole room without extra light?
they are more lumens than the spots we would of fit, so yes mate.
@@thegardenroomguru Thank you very much for quick answer.
where did you get the lights from and are they easy to replce if need be
customer supplied, but yes, easy to replace, just take off diffuser cover pull tape light out, and reinstall new tape light
The subtitles feature on youtube has never been more useful
Can I use a router to make the channel to install the LED tracks?
Dangerous and messy up side down mate
Did you OSB the ceiling?, not sure if you said. 😂
O S B Everything 🤣
HOW ABOUT A WINDOW IN THE ROOF... ????? LOVE 💘 THE VIDEOS
Hopefully mate, they bring you over the 2.5 though
Guy sounds like he got marbles in his mouth
Couldn’t understand half of what was uttered
