Wow! This was a super useful video. I have been contemplating this very issue Yours is the most concise description of the differences that I have found. Not only did it help me determine that A DBA is a much better fit for me than a PhD, I also now realize the even the DBA is not appropriate for me right now. It is definitely something to look into 4-8 years from now, depending on how my business is performing. Thank you, again.
This was truly a great video. Probably the only explanation without "filler" material or just hot garbage. It definitely helped me put things into perspective on what I am looking for. Thank you sir. Semper Fi.
A DBA degree is a course for someone, who want to continue working at a firm, who also want to persue an executive level job within the firm, while obtaining a doctoral degree at the same time and a PhD degree is a course for someone who want to become a professor in their field of study at a public university while they continue doing their academic research at the same time as well.
Excellent video…..one of best I have seen so far. Thank you!!!!

I want to be able to do research and publish. I really want to teach, but I am not interested in tenure. Thanks for the information, it helped.
I like the way you said: when writing for managers it must be something that doesn't sap their will to live. Hahaha very funny but true
Thank you Dr.Gill for this presentation.
