I found your comment about using dofetilide in patients with relatively low rates in sinus rhythm encouraging. I had an ablation 10 years ago and just had a second one in December 2022. But I’m still having problems with atrial flutter which then immediately morphs into AF, going back and forth. I’m currently taking flecainide but it doesn’t seem to be being very effective in preventing new episodes, and so I sort of expect based on my EP doctors statements that dofetilide is next, and I was really wondering about how that would play with my low heart rate when I am in sinus rhythm. They had a hard time trying to map out my atrial flutter because it wasn’t lasting long enough.
Here’s a VITAL question for you . I currently Take Defedolide at 500 Mcg twice a day in addition to Toprol once daily . Literally two days ago I was notified that the Defedolide manufacturer which is GREENSTONE stopped making Defedolide which puts me in a quandary because I will be forced to take Defedolide from a different manufacturer called SUN . Now since I had to be hospitalized for three days while starting Defedolide (manufacturers by GREENSONE) and have been taking the same drug for three years by the same manufacturer, is it not necessary to then go back into the hospital to go on what is potentially a somewhat different version of the same drug except for things like fillers and or binders etc. I only have two days worth of the old prescription left and I am VERY CONCERNED about the prospect of taking this new version from a new manufacturer especially regarding prolonged QT due to possible variations in chemical composition

What about using antiarrythmic drugs for PVCs?
I take Verapamil Hydrochloride 240mg and it makes me tired.
