VERY cool. A few years ago, I started looking into the replicas of his sword from this film and found that Noone had ever released an accurate copy.
So, I tracked down reference photos from auctions of the props, along with measurements and close-ups of all of the fittings.
Shared my findings on a sword collecting Facebook page, and was contacted by a gentleman (well, several people contacted me for advice but one in particular, helped with the tsuba.
We found the original historical tsuba that the film one was based on and used a metal 3d printing company to make the tsuba.
I bought all of the other fittings and a somewhat mass produced but mostly handmade sword that had everything correct on the blade.
    I adjusted and assembled everything.
Wrapped the tsuka in leather ito and called it a day.
It's on display with my accurate Kill Bill Bride's sword.
    BUT
    I hadn't considered adding Alghren's pistol.

That is awesome! Sounds like an amazing piece you put together, love the deep dive research. Would love to see it if you posted to any socials.
Yeah just became a bit fascinated with the revolver and wanted to track one down that was a good facsimile. There were only about 7000 real ones made, and as I mentioned it was tricky to track one down that was safe and I could own without a license. I found a site called the Internet movie firearm database (imfdb) if you want to look at what models they use in this, or any, movie. Handy resource

Plus, are you sure that’s not an 1851 navy conversion? Barrel looks octagonal to me.
