How did you prepare for the role, seeing that most people don't have prior work experience for this role as it's fairly new? Did you take courses or mentorship?
@@didiliciousone Hi there, I had prior experience as a research fellow in a data field. I have since completed the DAMA CDMP course which I would recommend.
Hello. Thank you for your quick reply. Much appreciated. I'm considering this career path, but my background is in HR with no prior experience in DG, obviously lol. I was just wondering how I can get into this field.
This was so informative. Every course I've watched so far is full of words and no indication of how to use it. Here all the information makes practical sense
For an extensive theme as Data Governance and Data Management you explained it very clear the main concepts, with simple examples, dynamic voice, paused, effective, very good content and tutorial. I want to hear more from you. Thank you.
Thank you for the interesting information Jen, Here are my take aways: 1. Don't boil the ocean, start with smallest business unit. 2. Data governance is a continuous efforts, every one within the organization has to collaborate and contribute. 3. Try to implement Data governance by design phase.
This absolutely fantastic. Great explanations regarding all the aspects within data governance and where and why they are applied to the many different process throughout business.
great info! I would just suggest some brief pauses between topics to help the reader digest, the jump cuts are a little quick. I like the efficiency, though!
Hi i come from italy and first of all really interesting video! i want to go to university, i m 22 years old and for corosna's fault i ve wen tback in my city and left engineering course. i m intererest in data analyst field and i want to enroll into statsitc or computer science degree. which kind of degree do you think that is better? i analyzed both of degree and this is what i dicovered: !)computer science has a lot of math, algebra and programming/architetture skills really useful in it carrers but there are few subject in statistic and the math that is used is not related to analytic field. 2)statsitc is focused in analytical subject like probability, using excel, r,sas, spss, buit less focused on it skills like operation system, datbaeses ecc. there 1 course of programming and i think that is easy to learn alone databes structure. really appreciate your answer, you seems really interesin this field and there are not too may people that explayn well likeyou. ps sorry for my english,is not my main language :) thanks :)
