- Data Management is a really large subject.
Thus in this Infographic video an explanation will be given in attempt to simplify what it is about.
For this example the framework of DAMA DM-BoK 1.0 has been used as my guide. Also a really nice video I used as inspiration is about MDM by Jared Hillam. But do recon these are just guidelines and you are not obliged to follow them.

Should be starting with data architecture after data governance
Unfortunately, Data Architecture as we once knew it is dead. It was thrown out with the move to the cloud platforms; along with systems and application architecture. Oh, the terms "data architecture" and "data architect" still exist, but they have been repurposed to mean what we would have called "cloud platform administration" and "administrator," respectively. What this means is that data governance is relegated to being reactive (i.e. cleaning up messes) and no longer has a proactive component.
