The Spectacular Spider-Man is an American superhero animated television series based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, created and developed by Greg Weisman and Victor Cook. In terms of overall tone and style, the series is based principally on the Stan Lee, Steve Ditko, and John Romita Sr. era of The Amazing Spider-Man comic books, with a similar balance of action, drama, and comedy as well as a high school setting. However, it also tends to blend material from all eras of the comic's run-up to that point in addition to other sources such as the Ultimate Spider-Man comics by Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley, as well as Sam Raimi's Spider-Man film series.

Mom! Steve Blum is talking to himself again!
0:03 God I'd love that British accent Steve Blum gives that Mobster
Please make Kingpin the main villain in Season 3 of Spectacular Spider-Man.
A new season isn’t coming.😔
Kingpin was going to be the Big man instead of tombstone, but they didn't have the rights to him so they had to settle with tombstone
@@thedoglovinggamer5825while that is a true fact, it’s most unfortunate. No other Spider-Man show will replace this IMHO
@@insane_rail_lover I just realized that I used the wrong emoji in my comment. Also I agree.👍
I actually like this version of Tombstone with his chilling voice and appearance.
My goodness Mark is buff 💪🏻❤
So... before, I said Liz Allen should be replaced with Lucy Ashmore for Liz Allen's return in the comics. I think the name should be Lisa Aaron instead, it has more resemblance to Liz Allen regarding name sound. If this show is brought back and decides to make Harry and Liz a couple, as Liz is already such a fleshed out and standout character in her own right here, it can thus, be a play on the new mythos, like how Ned Leeds' name is Ned Lee, or how John Jameson becomes a superpowered being called Colonel Jupiter, but doesn't obtain his abilities from a space mission to Jupiter, the name instead originates from being inspired by a name which represents the type of world the spores which gave him his abilities would come from ("a high mass, high gravity world").
*Edit:* In terms of establishing this regarding its uniqueness, Betty Brant and Glory Grant both have a similar sounding name due to the same sounding, rhyming last name, and the double alliteration full name - So its uniqueness doesn't seem very out of leftfield.
0:42 Ahhh, wrong answer.
