Wow, that comparison review was very well done and it took you a lot of time and $$$ to do!!! So many YT-ers just gab away, no editing, no anything. You are in a completely different category! Thank you so much!

This is the first comparisons video without a demonstration I have watched all the way through. Excellent. 21 points you win Jeremy! 🏆 I think for my style I made the right choice, arrives next week.
Wow, thank you so much for this video! This is EXACTLY the information I needed in such an organized, easy to understand fashion. Keep it up, friend. Great stuff!
Thank you very much Mr. Jeremy. As a casual user, with no skill to play at all, and just want to play for fun, I really confuse between CTX-5000 and EK-50, on that price range. Now I knew I should go for EK-50.
9:21 korg EK50 has no arpeggiator? Unbelievable. I would by EK50 if it had one, so now I'm thinking about EW410 Is it possible to play an arpeggio on EK50 by using a sequencer function and map the pattern to the keys on keyboard?
Thank you Jeremy for all those nice, honest and clear video's from you. It helps me really to make the right choice to buy the keyboard that fits me best. Thank you 1.000 times !
It was a nice surprise to hear back from you.I was a professional musician for many years, but I entertain myself at home.Life on the road wasn't all that it was cracked up to be.Don't get me wrong, the experiences and fantastic venues I appeared in were great, but I get enjoyment with no travelling stress. As far as the EK50 is concerned,If my wife and family ask me what I would like for my birthday in November, I'm ready with the answer.Keep up the good work Jeremy. Yup! I tried korg ek 50 earlier today, I love it. They said once you buy any instruments below $1k it's consider a toys, but the korg ek 50 wasn't bad.
It is true that EW410 does not have jack for "normal" microphone. But it does have an AUX INPUT. Any speaker (including keyboard that has on board speakers) with AUX INPUT can support a microphone. Not a normal (dynamic or condenser) microphone, but those cheap blue tooth wireless karaoke microphones are OK as long as they have an AUDIO out port. Their audio output is similar to an MP3 output. I have been using one of these for my EW410 which record keyboard playing and vocal as AUDIO.
My next keyboard will be the Korg Ek-50.. I'm particular with keybeds ..i owned a ctx 3000 which is comparable to 5000...There keybeds are quite squeeky and sometimes noisy..But again, it is still a beast... Now it is time to purchase and discover other brands
I wonder how you can control the modulation on the YAMAHA... There is no modulation wheel, and the knobs can't be used to control the modulation, so...
Jeremy, It is often difficult to see which buttons you have selected before playing a demo. Could you please list your registration / selection before you start to play. It would help a lot for us novices . Thanks for all you do

Thank for your review, Jeremy. Comparing the Korg EK-50 with the Casio CT-S1 / Yamaha NP-12/NP-35 / PSR-E373 / PSR-E473 : Will Korg be better in these parameters? -only default piano sound (with external receiver and floorstanding speakers) -physical feel from the keys when playing
Hi Jeremy, sorry, I din't understand why the PSR E463 is mentioned in the tittle of the video? I believe it gets never compared with the others, right? Or maybe I missed that part? Thanks!
I mean what can you do without a Bass Inversion, when you have a song like "Whiter Shade of Pale" ? I'd like to buy the EW-410 but missing this feature turns me away, but the 76 keys are nothing to frown upon either, but then again, I'll end up with a keyboard that has DJ functions that I would never use, while the EK-50's panel is laid out in a very logical way, I just wish they would've made it 76 keys, instead of the 61. And OK, the Ek-50 might have a bass inversion, but they forgot to make a separate button for it on the panel. Is it true that the EK-50 has a problem going from one set list to the other, the rhythm stops for a millisecond, that worries me, do you have any input on that Jeremy?
I still really dunno what to pick. With ek50 I love ability to turn off each part of accompaniment. But CTX5000 looks like it comes with huge possibility - edits, registers, bigger sequencer tracks. Or maybe korg pa300 is better choice?
Very good and informative review. Thanks for making the video. I really like the Korg EK 50 but it only has 61 keys unlike Yamaha has 76 keys. Do you have any recommendations that has EK 50 features and 76 keys and of course around the budget? I appreciate your help. Two more questions: Out of 10, how is the quality of grand piano sound in ew410 compared to ek 50? Does EW410 have piano + pad sound like ek50? If yes, is it as good? Thanks much
Good thing Korg has improved the UI from PA-50/Microarranger. The operation system in my MicroArranger is very confusing and I have not been able to do anything too complicated with it, like creating styles. Casio should have used the same touch screen and OS from their MZ-X-boards to make CT-X more user-friendly.
hey there Jeremy.. i just got the psr-ew410.. it says it has lesson mode but i cant find anything in the manual.. am i missing something here?? how do i activate it???
Hi dear thank you for your wonderful comparison video...my plan was to buy a Yamaha 463 keyboard but after wathching your video my mind was changed and I purchased KORG EK50 keyboard...everything is fine but I am facing a problem in EK 50 Keyboard.I had a Yamaha keyboard which has a dedicated button for accompaniment on/off. In Yamaha, when the accompaniment button is 'on' the accompaniment will start when pressing the chords along with keyboard rhythm. If accompaniment is off the only rhythm will play. I couldn't find this functionality in the EK 50 Keyboard. ...do you have any idea about it.
A good comparison. I have used Casio CT-X5000 for 3 months and I found the features of CTX are richer than other at the same price range. It is very easy to connect the CTX to computer and use the keyboard as the controller. No need to install any driver. Just plug and make a simple setting to DAW.

Great review - just want i was looking for and got EK-50. It is indeed awesome for the price range. Easy to use and my kid picked it up just like that !!! Thank you Jeremy!
Hi Jeremy, I got a question that prolly been asked many many times. I have a 7yrs old daughter with 20+ piano lessons, and me and wife is debating on her first piano choice: a $1K electric or a $3K acoustic. My wife prefers acoustic, while I prefer the electric. My concern's if my daughter is over her hype as I never seen her partice at home, while my wife thinks the 3K acoustic can be sell as 2nd hand even in that case (while electric has no resell value).
Hi Jeremy ! Did you delete some videos from your channel ? I can't find again the video where you have played each style of the PSR-E463, only by applying chords with intro style. This was the video where you have asked people to recognize the real song which has inspired each style. Do you remember .?
Hey Jeremy, I appreciate the vids. I've got a question - does the EW-425 change anything here? I'm looking to get a keyboard for gigging, it will be something I use at gigs 2-4x per week, and these keyboards (the EW-425 instead of the 463) seem to be where my budget is at the moment. Does the EW-425 step ahead of the others for people that gig? I'm already a very busy solo acoustic performer but want to bring a full-band experience to my venues with an arranger keyboard, instead of backing tracks etc because I feel like they're too cheesy and limiting.
Hi Jeremy I know this is a old video but I’m purchasing a keyboard today, I’m 40 years old looking to start getting serious about learning to play the keys but I’m a novice, what keyboard do you recommend I want the best preset voice quality for the money Korg EK 50 U or the Yamaha psr e473? I’m literally going to purchase today
Thank you .. Wonderful, brilliant observation!! I am impressed..In our country every body especially music students and even music teachers are always obsessed with Yamaha keyboards. I always suggest Casio series for students especially for beginners ..
Hi... i'm so impressed with this video. So i have a kind request to u, could you please make a video on comparison of those keyboards with roland keyboard?
Hi Jeremy, great video and very nicely explained. I am a bass player , guitarist and play a little saxophone and would like to buy a reasonably priced keyboard for me and my daughter. My first choice now would be the Yamaha PSR-EW425 as this also supports 432Hz concert pitch. Can A=432Hz also be set on the Korg EK-50L? I work a lot with horns in my soul band, therefore, which of the two keyboards has the best saxophone and trumpet sounds? Thank you for your help, Groovy greetings Kay
Thank you for your video. I bought the Korg EK50L. Sounds and Styles are perfect for my playing. Speakers are extremely nice and sound clear. Play Mp3 and audio work well for me. Anyway, Korg is a great investment.
Hey Jeremey, Thank you so much for this indepth comparison. It is one of the best comparison video. May I please request you to make a comparison Video like this one comparing EK-50 with Roland E30.
Hi. Thank you, this video is really useful. I want to ask you one thing, which keyboard of these 3 on this video is better to play song with MIDI files? I got the intention to download midis and play muting the melody. I looking forward for your help. Thank you.
Jeremy I wish you would've mentioned that the Yamaha EW-410 has no Bass Inversion feature, while the EK-50 does, although I'm not sure about the Casio.
Hi Jeremy. What would you recommend for a non player who is building a home studio. The board will usually be played by others who are actually very good. Thinking about a new mid price arranger or a used pro unit like a korg triton or kurzweil k2000. The board will be plugged directly into a mixer and will also be used to control a emu proteus 1.
excellent video! i had the ew410 sold it due to the limitations you talked about. i have a korg pa600 which i love. i use a software (ONE MAN BAND) and a midi controller for my yamaha styles for fun . i use the korg when i play out. i like the way you present the specifications facts in a non bias way. im a player professional (now retired) after 50+ years of playing on the road. had just about every keyboard there is including the classics(b3,rhodes,moog, etc.) again keep up the good work . im a new subsciber.
Hello Jeremy, Still me. I don't want to make a mistake and I'm wondering. Seeing your Korg EK 50 video, I want to know your opinion, if I buy this one, will I regret the Aix voice and the Hex layer of the Casio ct-x5000. Or the MZ-X500 if I can find one. It's my last question, because after your answer, I will make my buy. Many thanks. JP
if i buy Korg ek50 in USA because that is the only one available here, and it looks like a good buy, if in future i want to use it with some DAW software to get indian instu ments, would i be able to?
Thanks so much for this video, it was very useful indeed... although I have a critic / rhetorical question... how come in a 20 min keyboard comparison there is not a mention of keys quality?
hello mr jeremy see thank u for your informational videos im planning to buy a keyboard for intermediate user which one should i choose a korg EK50 or yamaha psr-E425? which is better? thank u & more power.
I bought the keyboard Yamaha PSR E-464 and love it. My problem is that when I choose a pre-set style with accompaniment, I play the chords and everything synchronizes without any problem which sounds fantastic. . My question is that when I load a midi file for a song, I play the chords but nothing synchronizes with the rest. The chords I play is just an extra sound on top of everything and nothing sync with the music. . What is my problem? Any suggestions.
Are there any production keyboards with a sampling function/sequencer like the EPS or Ensoniq ASR? It’s very hard navigating what does and what doesn’t. This video was very helpful
Hi, I'm looking for a new keyboard to replace my good old Casio CTK-496. I want high quality and expressive voices (specially on electric piano, guitar and drums) and also I want to use the keyboard with FL Studio and Kontakt. After some research I have two alternatives: Yamaha PSR-E463 and Casio CT-X5000. Both have identical price tag in my country. What you recommend between these two? Do you know if I can use the pitch bend wheel with DAW software? Thanks and greetings from Chile.
@@JeremySee Thanks for the quick answer! I briefly tested the Casio on a shop and the difference with my old CTK-496 is impressive. This week I'll try to test the Yamaha to make a final decision, but I think I'll going for the Casio anyways.
I planned to upgrade, now what? which one? Thats the situation to all since everyone would be shifting either from Casio or Yamaha as a starter. This video is an eye opener to anyone that if we need a mid range keyboard we need to take care of all such details is simply awesome to decide which one is our best choice. Thanks Jeremy for a in-depth comparison where you cannot get over the internet sites. Those don't have good knowledge about Korg will now boosts the confidence to buy. Kudos!

Hi Jeremy, what about comparing Korg EK50 vs the new Yamaha PSR-E473?
Why did Casio change from its perfect MZ-X500 OS to this inferior AiX CT-X OS & UI?
It is true that EW410 does not have jack for "normal" microphone. But it does have an AUX INPUT.
Any speaker (including keyboard that has on board speakers) with AUX INPUT can support a microphone.
Not a normal (dynamic or condenser) microphone, but those cheap blue tooth wireless karaoke microphones are OK as long as they have an AUDIO out port. Their audio output is similar to an MP3 output.

The EW-425 is certainly a big upgrade to the EW-410. It's Yamaha 2022 vs 2018, and there have been massive improvements since then.
Yamaha has has a built-in audio interface which is super powerful to record your audio directly into a DAW. Does the CTX has this?

Amazing comparison !!! In your opinion, CASIO CT-X5000 or YAMAHA PSR-E473 ?
Thank you Sir… very good comparison…
excellent video! i had the ew410 sold it due to the limitations you talked about. i have a korg pa600 which i love. i use a software (ONE MAN BAND) and a midi controller for my yamaha styles for fun . i use the korg when i play out. i like the way you present the specifications facts in a non bias way. im a player professional (now retired) after 50+ years of playing on the road. had just about every keyboard there is including the classics(b3,rhodes,moog, etc.) again keep up the good work . im a new subsciber.
Thanks for dropping by buddy. Great to read about your story.
What is Your opinion about comparing Korg EK50 vs Casio CTx3000?
Are you aware of any high quality keyboards or digital pianos that will show you the chord that you are playing on the LCD screen?
Hello Jeremy, Still me. I don't want to make a mistake and I'm wondering. Seeing your Korg EK 50 video, I want to know your opinion, if
I buy this one, will I regret the Aix voice and the Hex layer of the Casio ct-x5000. Or the MZ-X500 if I can find one. It's my last question,
because after your answer, I will make my buy. Many thanks. JP
if i buy Korg ek50 in USA because that is the only one available here, and it looks like a good buy, if in future i want to use it with some DAW software to get indian instu ments, would i be able to?
Is in Casio CT X 5000 and CT X 8000-9000 have same depth of sound and instrument tone ?
Super video - Thank You! I have been considering two of these keyboards. This video has been very helpful in my decision.
What did you get?
Thank you for your review. I'm a beginner.
I bought casio CT-X5000 based on this review.
Great choice!
Can you create midifiles in any of these keyboards and take it out on a pen and edit using a software like cakewalk or sonar and play back on the kbd
Really useful video! It helped me to decide for the EK-50. Thanks, Jeremy!
Have fun buddy!
Thanks so much for this video, it was very useful indeed... although I have a critic / rhetorical question... how come in a 20 min keyboard comparison there is not a mention of keys quality?
Hello Jeremy .. Id like to know the difference between the roland bk3 and ex30 please.
Hi, what you prefer between Yamaha ew 425 and Korg el 50 L? Please answer. Tnx #Jeremysee
hello mr jeremy see thank u for your informational videos im planning to buy a keyboard for intermediate user which one should i choose a korg EK50 or yamaha psr-E425? which is better? thank u & more power.
MIDI files are pre programmed, it won't follow your chord patterns. You can however edit it on PC..
Hi Jeremy, I would like to ask about Roland BK-3. Is it better than Casio CTX-5000? Need your info, please. Thank you.
BK-3 better
@@JeremySee Does Roland BK-3 have arranger tools too? (Style Creator, Sounds Editor, etc?)
No creator and editor but you can load rhythms from the entire range of roland arranger. BK-3 is easier to use. More rhythms and more sounds.
OK, Jeremy, many thanks!
Are there any production keyboards with a sampling function/sequencer like the EPS or Ensoniq ASR? It’s very hard navigating what does and what doesn’t. This video was very helpful
i am confused that which one is better casio ctx 8000in or casio ctk 6300in??
Hi, I'm looking for a new keyboard to replace my good old Casio CTK-496. I want high quality and expressive voices (specially on electric piano, guitar and drums) and also I want to use the keyboard with FL Studio and Kontakt. After some research I have two alternatives: Yamaha PSR-E463 and Casio CT-X5000. Both have identical price tag in my country. What you recommend between these two? Do you know if I can use the pitch bend wheel with DAW software?
Thanks and greetings from Chile.
Yes, pitch bend will send info to DAW. CT-X5000 is better.
@@JeremySee Thanks for the quick answer! I briefly tested the Casio on a shop and the difference with my old CTK-496 is impressive. This week I'll try to test the Yamaha to make a final decision, but I think I'll going for the Casio anyways.
@@xsam123 Hey man, so what did you buy?
Hi Jeremy.... Im playing at church and want to buy a new keyboard but im confused between the psr463 and ek50.. Please help
76 keys must significate 3 points at least, it's a really big diference..61 keys it's a real limitation to me
I planned to upgrade, now what? Kudos!
Thanks buddy.
@@JeremySee Please upload a video review on Casio WK-7600 :)
I find that this channel is very helpful for those who intend to buy some keyboard
A very good review Jeremy.
Waiting for your video of the Yamaha PSR SX600.....
Exited!
Thank you Jeremy for this awesome detailed and unbiased review. I just ordered my first brand new KORG EK50. You are doing a great job towards our decision making. Thank you very much
Great choice! Have fun.
