  • I traveled with 400 digital nomads to a beach in Brazil and asked them what they do to make an online income. In this video, hear from digital entrepreneurs from the U.S., Germany, and Mexico about how they got started in a nomadic lifestyle and the different types of ways they make money. I'm always surprised and inspired by the people I talk to and I hope this video gives you a lot of ideas about how you can live a location-independent lifestyle!

Your digital nomad interviews are always fascinating, Kristin. In your next one, I’d be curious to hear if nomads put aside income for retirement and, if so, in what manner (i.e., solo 401k). I’m also curious if they are able to maintain enough savings month to month to cover an emergency. Thanks for all the work you do to produce informative travel content.👏

Cool Kristin that you are evolving your channel to also be interactive with people in places. And you ask really good questions. Are you doing these interactions spontaneously, or do you have the questions planned out? This video caught my eye because I am a Floridian who also lives in Brazil, Recreio dos Bandeirantes specifically. Happy Holidays, and safe travels as always!

Hi Charles, so glad you are liking the videos and interviews! This was a spontaneous one so I had nothing planned in advance and I didn't know who I would talk to. But I have done a lot of interviews now on my podcast, Badass Digital Nomads, so maybe that helps me subconsciously :) You can check out different episodes at: www.badassdigitalnomads.com

I am thinking of relocating to Miami from another state in order to pursue a music career and raise money for charity, while keeping my online teaching. Would you recommend South Florida for such things? I might be moving in 90-days. @@TravelingwithKristin

It depends on the person. I think it’s good practice to go somewhere that’s affordable and attractive to you at first. Maybe somewhere relatively close to your home country. I traveled for 15 years before I made it to Thailand but some people like to go there first! I started in Mexico and Costa Rica

My closest and most successful in business, wealthiest friend just does NOT believe that any one, let alone creatives; writers, etc can make a full time or even part time living working solely online and utilizing affiliate marketing as a main source of income on a website you are an expert in the field writing about. It suck because HIS most wealthiest millionaire and billionaire clients are super old and old school with the must work HARD and ' if someone cannot DO anything for you, don't allow them into your life' philosophy keep influencing him in detrimental ways and now he doesn't want to invest in my business, blog, physical products Im seeking funding for prototypes for, etc.
How do you convince or show someone who was a big part of your life and future especially business wise that you do NOT have to trade time for money and it IS possible to make really good money in the digital online world and you CAN travel around and have beautiful new life experiences with new different people of different cultures?
