Yes. The Television Producer's should have named the programme 《Only in the Philippines》... it made more sense. Outside of the country.

Again, there's more than one recipe for this. Undoubtedly maybe this is the only one used ??? Guessing its popularity, everwhere its eaten...hmmm ??? Yes. And even the poorest classes elsewhere wouldn't know jackfruit from beef tripe. Just how to cook the stuff. Hmmm?? How is that done when we 'google' it, too.
That's just too fast forward --- unbelievable. Something NEW all the time to learn. Unbelievable.

What in the world is that 'mess' !!!?? Seriously, no one powders "parmesan cheese" over a menu of beef tripe ... not even Europeans. Noting, how often Filipinos pour cheese on everything like it's pizza. Really the worst recipe on view seen so far !! The only thing that comes close to this is Pasta Fazulli by the Italians or American bean soup, like, a minestrone by adding parmesan cheese. But honestly now what a serious mess ! Not a culinary delights whatsoever. Just a chef's table menu for his concocted take on a commonly known recipe.

Certainly [we] have seen International Cooking programmes world-wide, perhaps being 'centric' to anything purely regarded as common in Regional Philippine Cuisine appears to outweigh that there are 'foodies' who are much more reliant on what class of society that there are outside of the immediate opinion of soloist star chef ... sprinkling cheese on top of the entrees. Better yet, its probably why most foreigners [Americans, included] won't palate that kind of 《Chopped》(halo-halo garbage) translatable to refined American English showmanship. Nobody apparently [who] audiences the episode knows better than the Chef himself. Is that really true? Or, is it the Chef's namesake creating it --- more renowned definitively beyond the confines of Manila. Say, Paris ? Or, Italy ? Or, Tokyo...like true Iron Chef Competitor to say more ??? No. Hardly.
Because we already know its pure entertainment, like Tanghalan !! Absolute idiocracy. All talk. Noted the less than sterling "Michelin Rating" ... found anywhere following the letter of course to be applied over the imaginariness of the high-classed elsewhere. They would be gobbling this recipe like --- there's no tomorrow. Fantastic fantasies !! Hahaha.

French cuisine has its own ways. Filipinos have their won taste. Not all french cuisine would appeal to Filipinos or Asians in general. Not all Filipino Cuisines would appeal to French people. Respect Filipino food culture if you want to respect your french culinary culture. You do not have the rights to judge the recipe because your taste pallet is not the same with Asians. Not all westerners or europeans eat Asian cuisine. I DONT EAT BLUE CHEESE, THE MOLDY CHEESE AND CAMEMBERT CHEESE. THEY look extravagant and elegant but TASTE AWFUL LIKE SOUR MOLDED CHEESE. TASTE DISGUSTING FOR ASIANS BUT DELICIOUS FOR FRENCH AND EUROPEANS. YET IN THE END SINCE WE DONT EAT THESE TYPE OF CHEESE DOENST MEAN IT IS NOT DELICIOUS. RESPECT
