What? Her point is perfectly valid. 1. He threatens to take Tesla private. 2. SEC charges him for security fraud. 3. Case is settled by him agreeing to have his public statements (including tweets) regarding Tesla monitored by Tesla's board of directors. 4. He claims his tweets are not reviewed before he posts them. 5. She argues that even if only some tweets are supposed to be reviewed according to the agreement the board would have to review all of them before they are posted since they have to determine if a tweet is potentially market-moving.
@@bory215 your assuming that is how the details of the law work. I don’t know the details but it probably has some reasonable foreseeability component of the like.
@@bory215 they don't have to review all of them, it just depends on the risk the board is willing to take. Most tweets are obviously not going to move the market. @Mr. H-Bomb Are you saying that taking a company private is nothing more than deleting a ticker symbol? Elon's tweet implied a tender offer at $420 per share. 1. While shareholders would have received a substantial premium over the market price at the time if they had accepted such an offer, some of them probably valued Tesla higher and going private would have made it significantly harder for them to sell their shares later. 2. Such a tender offer would have been bad news for short sellers. Btw Elon and Tesla were fined $40m to compensate investors for the market disruptions his tweet caused.
@michael erik exactly, he’s just as power hungry as the rest of the billionaire CEO’s. Surely the more resistant it is the safer the driver is ? Well no , not exactly , in physics there is the relatively simple equation a= (v-u)/t What this mean is that the end velocity minus the starting divided by time This is why crumple zones exist to increase time as the longer the time the less the acceleration and so the less the force using the equation for force (because it ix f=ma) F=(mv-mu)/t this will therefore also decrease the force The musk , by hardening it has actually increased the force of a car hitting the cybertruck

Bro I love our constitution as much as the next guy, but when are ya'll gonna learn that the first amendment only protects you from being censored by the government? It doesn't affect twitter, facebook, walmart etc. They can enforce any and all speech regulations they see fit on their property or platforms, because they aren't government and you're on their private property, whether it be virtual or physical. Of course, that same right extends to you on your private property. You can censor all the speech you want within your own home/business/online platform. Just please, stop thinking everyone has to bend over backwards for free speech. I'll go out of my way to stop using a service/product from a company that shows itself to be anti-free speech, but that doesn't mean I don't acknowledge that they have every right to do so because they aren't, in fact, a government body in anyway shape or form.
@@99mage99 True, but they shouldn't be able to censor people. With how big social media is today the government is allowing unelected people to have the ability to effectively erase 99% of the influence of a person who they disagree with. And guess what, they will only ban speech that is anti-establishment or controversial towards the actions and decisions of the government. It is ultimately a loophole for the government because while they are not directly banning certain speech, these companies which provide platforms that virtually everyone gets their information from, are now banning speech the government wouldn't want people to hear. It results in speech the government would want to censor, if it could, being almost completely censored and so there needs to be regulations on these companies otherwise we are moving in a very scary direction. Far-Right wing, as well as socialist groups have already been banned by facebook, and we are left with the status quo being all that's left, no controversial ideas seeing the light of day.

4. He claims his tweets are not reviewed before he posts them.

@@davez5201 In my case, this clip is a bad example of why I don't like her interviewing style. Given this single interview, it wasn't any big deal.
I have seen her interviews a lot over the years, though, and she has lost my respect due to her propensity to misunderstand the difference between asking difficult questions and being unnecessarily combative. She has a tendency to act like she needs to win the discussion rather than be a tool to get information out of the interviewee. She lets her opinions cloud the discussion more than a journalist should and she doesn't realize that no one cares what she thinks.

Surely the more resistant it is the safer the driver is ?
Well no , not exactly , in physics there is the relatively simple equation a= (v-u)/t
What this mean is that the end velocity minus the starting divided by time
This is why crumple zones exist to increase time as the longer the time the less the acceleration and so the less the force using the equation for force (because it ix f=ma)
F=(mv-mu)/t this will therefore also decrease the force
The musk , by hardening it has actually increased the force of a car hitting the cybertruck

Incitement of violence, threats, etc are not protected under the first amendment.
@@BrownBoy02 Yeah but Mark Zuckerberg should not be one in charge of deciding what is and isn't inciting violence.
