You showed how to measure the type and if it’s good or bad, however do you also measure meaningful values to figure out a replacement of a broken transistor?
How do you know if its a transistor or mosfet cause they in both of your trasistor and mosfet are see same components CONFUSING SERIUSLY....Would've been better if you started teaching us on how to spot the difference
So I’m measuring one smd NPN transistor on board but I’m not getting any reading on dmm? I have connected base with red probe of dmm and emitter, collector with black probe… no reading on dmm shows… is it a bad transistor? Please help
Outstanding! Now if I can learn to quickly tell 3-pin SOT Transistor from a LVO regulator or whatever else looks the same LOL. I suspect adjacent components give me clue?
Hello sir .. Thanks you soo much .. I'm really interesting with you explaining... How can I test crystal oscillator with multimeter... Secod: what about voltage value on capacitors if I tested when connect board by electric I can get same values on capacitors... Thanks ..Ali ..khartoum
My pleasure, glad to hear that. 1. To test the crystal oscillator you need an oscilloscope or a multimeter with frequency testing ability. 2. It is not recommended to test the capacitor while applying power. Good luck.
Hi, I downloaded all your videos, they are the only ones I've seen done well, congratulations. I wanted to ask you for help if possible, I have a PCB of a 16V amplified car antenna, I have identified the 3-pin SOT-23 amplification transistor which bears the abbreviation RC5, it should be NPN, following your test video with the tester being tested diodes, the red probe on the base, the black probe on the collector gives me a reading, the red probe on the base, the black probe on the emitter gives me a reading, inversion of the probes and still gives me a reading..........; I tried with the Peak DCA75 which I also have and it gives me correct transistor values; I do not understand...........
Motherboard is not really repaired unless there’s visible component damage. We need to focus on things like testing switches, motors, batteries etc. A parts replacer
Getting annoyed, don't know what i'm doing wrong literally following what you're doing and get a reading on both sides when in diode mode and this isn't a bad motherboard, it fully works. Getting it on every transistor.

Thanks... i am not an Electronic tech, but with A/C and Refrigerators now are inverters i need to learn some basics...

Big Bro, you don't know how much I love this channel & other is no comparison on RUclips, i am preparing my notes watching all this.

I like how you are Describing 🙏
Thank you
Thanks for this video you explained everything very well and thoroughly
You are welcome

Do you know a good website or online resource for obsolete transistors from 1980's to present replacements ? Thanks !
Thanks brother im learning from you and you made me cleared 😊
Always welcome
I like your teaching style, thanks 😊
Glad to hear that!
I’m busy with a centurion gate motor course you just need to diagnose the battery, controller, charger, motor then replace those parts
We gonna cover all that step by step,
new subscriber !! so you can test transistors in circuit ? you do not need to remove ?
Thank you so much.Excellent tutorial. Very clear. Subscribed.
Awesome, thank you!
Easy to learn that kind of tutorial nice video keep it up
Thank you, I will

Are you sure you test a transistor?
Nice and Clear Explanation 🙂
Thank you 🙂, Glad you like it
very easy to understand. thank you for this video. you earned a new sub❤️
Well said
Danku voor het videos 👍

Very useful sir
Thank you
Thanks for good 👍 jobs
Welcome
very useful! Thanks!
Glad to hear that!
Good work thenks
Most welcome
Cool video shot, thanks for sharing it, keep it up, like it :)
Thanks king 👑 ❤️❤️

This assumes you know which lead is which, not easy to do without a schematic.

Sir can you use Analog tester next to test smd transistor? So that we can see the defference between analog ang digital tester
Noted!
How can measure darungon transistor.
Do you mean Darlington transistor?
Yes sir.zft603.
thanks sir
You are welcome bro.
Thanks. :)
You're welcome!
Hello sir how to test digital transistor
Hi, md mbaki,
What do you mean exactly by digital transistor?
Waiting for your reply.
Best video
Thank you
good
Thanks

Bro, I wonder how a transistor works when the base is not in the maddle.
Usually the base of the transistor is in the middle
Why you have voice changer on
Sorry about that Bro, the problem is solved now, if you check my last videos you will see that
The only thing I hear 🙉 is whistling
chech the speaker bro
@@electronicsrepairbasics_erb hahahahahahhhahahhhaha now you blame me I guess I need to check my ears

realised it was a diode i was trying to read... but they are literally the same component... the only thing different is the board markings...
Hi there,
For some transistors, It's okay if you get a reading on both sides, Don,t be confused.
@@electronicsrepairbasics_erb does this apply to your diode video too?
One help sir subtitles please sir
English subtitles already exist
Never understand this shit
