Devonn, LJ, and Courtney, I wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to each of you. Your podcast, Audionerds, has been a lifeline during a challenging period in my life. As I faced struggles that led to a decline in my mental health and a hiatus from mixing, your discussions and insights became a source of inspiration and comfort. Your passion for mixing, evident in every episode, fired up my own love for the craft. Since tuning in, I've found myself back on the right path, mixing once again with a genuine smile on my face. Your collective impact has been inspiring and I can't thank you enough for the positive influence you've had on my journey. Keep up the fantastic work; you've truly changed my outlook and mentality on life and mixing for the better. I encourage you to continue doing what you're doing, as I'm confident it has similarly impacted many more worldwide. Recently, I recommended the Audionerds podcast to all my friends because LJ represents the fun that can be had with mixing, and Devon represents the passion and drive that make it worthwhile.
Ahhhh My Guys! Feels good on this side of the gate lol... Nah but I appreciate the LOVE! You already know this is my favorite music podcast hands down. Love what yal do! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
as a Pro-tools user I haven't produced in that Daw in yearrrrrrs. but i have been in FL for the last 4 years and using maschine and FL together with pro tools, it's nothing but magic.
With how long I’ve been doin this, realizing more and more is that just being a good/nice human but not too nice to where people walk over you, will help you excel a lot more than just basic knowledge of your craft.
True rookie fan to your show/brand/family/community. Ive been running thru episodes of the HMD/MyAudioNerds Podcast. Ive been producing on FL since 11 years old. & newly tracking/engineering in Protools for the past 4-5 years. I cant explain enough! how much I appreciate the show (from all aspects) AAANNNDDDD how much I appreciate how strong LJ stands as a new captain/spokesman for #FLGng! What's good, boys? I've been watching your podcast for the last couple of weeks. You guys motivated me to get back into recording and mixing. I've been mixing and engineering since 98. I got bored, but you guys brought me back to life. I bought some of the plugins you were talking about. Keep going. I love to see the guys behind us scenes showing what we are and what we do for the musicians we work with.
I'm an electrical eng newer to making music. I have no idea if something like this already exist. but Give me that... Rosetta "Q" GainStager. Automatically levels your input/out volume level from plugin to plugin in your chain. What yall think?
I’m 62 considered as an Uncle lately but anyway I started out with cakewalk around 98 after my original analog studio was stolen anyway I used cakewalk acid reason and fruity loops afterwards at one point I would have acid as the controller and have 1 track in fruity loops and one totally different track in reason all synced together I never showed the fruity loops track until the session was over and I would put their vocals on the remix fl track. It would kill them the way everything synced up anyway keep up the great work fellas
Yea, I also copped the Master Plan plugin during Black Friday. Took advantage of the low price lol When communicating amongst humans, it's not about what you say but more of how you say it. Personally as a mix engineer, there's nothing I enjoy more than the freedom and ability to mix records in the comfort of my own home. There, I can send back revisions to the client over the INTERNET. A client being present while mixing will make no difference for the record lol. A lot of clients don't understand that mixing is a process and its all about the end product, not necessarily the process. So if I do use Low Air for example on a vocal, trust the process lol! The end result is what matters.
