I love the sweep picking you do at times in the piece.. I have a hard time doing it that way:(

I've played this piece on classical guitar for decades and even a bit later on the violin. The cello and I weren't so suited so it's the guitar and violin that I've played this on. It's a lovely prelude and shows Bach at his best (short of the Chaconne and some others) with lovely modulations and it falls so well under the fingers for guitar which is probably why it is ubiquitous in its repertoire. I can't imagine playing it on the mandolin but you, young lady do much justice to the piece on your mandolin. I really enjoyed your video. Great stuff !!
