- Check out 14 minutes of exclusive gameplay from the upcoming playable demo of The Alters, the wonderfully weird survival game in development at 11 Bit Studios in which you're a space miner who has to recruit other (very different) versions of yourself from parallel universes in order to survive on a hostile world. The demo will be available to download from Steam on June 10-17.

probably an Unpopular opinion but I'm in love with the minimalistic HUD design
Why would it be unpopular? When it comes to HUD Design, Minimalism is one of the best things you can do.

I'm definitely intrigued.
This seems veeeeeery nice, the only thing I'm missing is some kind of combat, nonetheless the game looks very promissing, the aspects are nice and there's a lot of elements to keep you hooked (at least for me)

how is it a studio no one's ever heard of can make a game that looks like this but yet the big guys just seem to put out first person shooters or remakes.
Just heard the Splinter cell game is a remake. I'll be passing on that. It's studios like this and other indie developers that will save the game industry. As Sony, Microsoft, Ubisoft, and EA all look to destroy it with no innovation, subscriptions, and battlepasses. The game needs a little more combat but otherwise looks new and innovative.
Consider this might not be a combat oriented game?

This is basically death stranding and mass effect put together, nothing innovative buddy

If they want to improve immersion they should try replace the loading black screen when you enter the hub, with a seamless animation of you getting inside. Takes me out of it everytime he enters
