I'll be taking my phone to some shows later this year lol. Definitely gonna try to get some videos. Even though Vanity shows aren't exactly the same visual spectacle as the normal show, it would be awesome to have professional video from it!
At the show I went to he teased playing the new song. Turned out the lights and everything…then said he couldn’t, shouldn’t have brought it up lol. Then they played UHF. ❤
I know that Al does custom set lists for every concert, but seeing that he didn’t play Albuquerque at Dayton last night, but does put it on the set list bums me out even more
Saw him a month ago and felt the same! Then I saw a video of him performing it in June at the Seattle show and he didn’t particularly seem to enjoy doing it, haha… that or he felt he’d done it enough this tour already. One of my favs though.. I would’ve loved to have seen it, too!
I didn't originally know Yoda was made that year to capitalize on Empire Strikes Back. I heard it on his third album in 1985 and by then, the first trilogy was done, with DV dead and buried.
Hey there, Stitcher is no longer around so the link won't work anymore. Some kind folks on RUclips have reuploaded the audio-only shows onto here before Stitcher went down. I think "Weird Al Concerts" might be one of them
Even though Luke is part of the crew, he sells it pretty good for the crowd

Thank you!!!
When he started to mention 1989, I'm surprised no one mentioned the film being UHF, which was swallowed up by Dead Poets Society among other films.

He did the same at the show I went to!
19:10 Why did Emo come out on stage only to bolt, was he pretending he thought it was time to bow? XD
He was looking for his severed finger. ;)
Poor "Luke", seemed very uncomfortable the whole time. Hopefully had fun anyway.
Pretty sure they're a plant, but you probably figured that too
I'm going to a show next week. It is one the vanity tour. It looks like al definitely has more creative freedom and fun at these shows
