Hey Alan! My budgies are bored these days. They watch the birds outside and even if I release them in the home they will stand at the window and wanna go out. Should I get a harness and take them outside? I dont want em to run away ;(
Budgies are extremely cute. Just the way they look, play, and act just makes them such a perfect pet. I've had mine for 9 years already, and he's still going strong. I truly love all kinda of birds.

I had a pure white Budgie with blue under its' wings that you couldn't see unless he spread his wings...When he was under a light he would emit this beautiful blue aura around himself...I can't explain how cool it looked. It was angelic like...His name was Blue and people always asked me why l would name such a white bird Blue until l showed them.. The response was always the same ..."WOW!"...Unfortunately he passed a few years ago but l loved that bird..

I just bought two budgies 🐦🐦from a pet store, a blue one I named willy ,and a yellow one I named sunshine,the blue one took right up with me ,the yellow one tiny bit skiddish, I play parakeet vids off RUclips, and it gets them to really sing and chirp,amazing just how many sounds they can make !! I've had them 24 hours now, they eat there's seeds and drink ,good sign, I'm going to get some fruits,from suggestions posted ,they are very easy to get in and out of cage ,the blue one instantly ready to jump on finger and gives lots of kisses , have watched alot of your videos, for best info to keep my budgies happy and healthy, look forward to more !! 😁👍I'm going to wait two weeks to let them get use to there in environment,they already seem to be content,but don't want them to get a set back ,thanks for your great videos, very helpful 😁👍by the way Willy and sunshine enjoy listening to your budges as well 😁👍
@english-u3y hello Willie and sunshine both doing fine 🐥🐦they have perfected there caractors ,and domain,right now there on winter vacation lol they took off for Mississippi,with my granddaughter,much warmer climate,I'm doing a lot of renovations and didn't need them exposed to dust,and radical temp changes in the house ,from having doors n windows open,saws and hammering ,going ,so it was vacation time for them lol I'll be going there in the spring and they will be traveling , (migrating) back home with me when I return,🐦🐥😎👍
Thank you for advanced care tips 😊😊 but maybe if your (anyone’s) budgie is overweight, check if you are giving seeds in the cage or millet in cage. If you change to pellets and vegetables and seeds as “good birdie!” Treats, you will notice a change in weight 🙂 (this goes for any bird ❤️)

But, I went out to PetsMart and got a new mate for Cloudy, my female budgie. Thankfully she accepted him and they are doing great. I love when they eat their fruits, veggies, and mealworms (mealworms I feed one per budgie once a week). I introduced pellet food to their diet as well recently to offer them more variety. Btw, I have to make a new batch of their favorite treats...millet sticks

Our budgies were checked by our vet specialized in birds two weeks ago. Just a routine check and they were also weighed. When we heard the weight of both budgies, I almost laughed my off. The female weighs 55 grams and the male almost 72 grams. Way too fat 😂 They're now on a diet with a lot of vegetables. I didn't realize our female budgie has overweight, she looks normal, but our male budgie is really fat 😂 He has a big chest, with the weight of almost 2 McChicken Nuggets 😂

I use sandpaper for the birds to keep their nails short; when using sandpaper make sure that you cut them thin and then apply them to their perches, roll on giving plenty of gabs between each twirl made then tie it up with something safe or pinch at each end of the perch when replacing them back inside the cage.
My budgies 🥚 hatched , it been 4 chick's out of 7 eggs . Two budgie females in the same pot . Although I kept two pots they laid eggs in same pot, can't distinguish which eggs is which one 🤔 😅. Is there any problem of two budgies in one pot alex dude??

When the first time he came to my house accidentally, i picked him up as he was injured, I quickly gave him to my father, and he took care of him, and when I was trying to let budgie go, he wasnt going anywhere, instead he came to my shoulder and thanked me, by kissing me... and After 2 years, when grew older, My little baby cousin opend the cage and the bird flew away, Its been 3 years since he left 😭😭😭😭

You should be responsible with your pet. It isn't a toy you should keep an eye of him. Even if your cousin let him go you would have been keep an eye for him.
Hey don't worry my budgies too aren't at first slowly give them treats , and then develop trust . It is since 9 months I handfed my budgie but my budgie still comes to me while I handfeed them
I don’t Waigh my parakeets becouse I don’t have a scale but I might take them to the vet so I can tell there gender becouse they don’t have there beck color but this is cool that the glow!!
@@lizziehn5928 they have green yellow head and green body with black dots on there wings and there Creres are coco witch is the boy I think it looks like he is starting to get blue on his beck and the girls is white with a blue line I have them on this RUclips Chanel if you want to look at them
@@fortnightlov1560 Young females will have a light blue cere color, but it will turn purple -> dark blue once they hit maturity (about 1 year old). You're likely correct on the second one, she sounds like a female.

My blue budgie chose an albino budgie as a mate, it also had a green budgie in the cage but it didn’t seem interested in it.

Get rid of any pitchers or vases. They will crawl into those n if you dont find them in about a day thats it
If you have round things on a shelf like jars or cannisters, those also create pitcher traps
