I need to remember to go back and watch this with sound on! Good thing you chose a low traction area, or else with the 4 wheel steer it would have rolled for sure! Pure RC bash goodness!
@@UncleBobsRC Yes indeed Sir!! I'm really enjoying that one we bought in the summer for the TTO2 speed challenge, it's great fun to drop it in random cars and watch them come to life!! 😂 👍 👍 👍
@@yodadarksideGreenHawksRC For sure, my daughter uses(d) my 3S in her Konghead (well, has) before with my old Trinity 19 turn Speed Gems 2 Quartz motor..
Dual stock silver cans on 3S sure does wake it up... Hell, 3S in any 10th scale rc wakes it up... My buddy Kevin "Mad Mustang" runs 3S in his Clod with stock silver cans... That truck is a beast..
A small soft case 3S Lipo should fit in the stock battery holder in a Clod as long as its not over 134mm (can go a bit longer with the removal of the battery spacers). However, keep in mind that soft case Lipo's don't like to be knocked around and are more prone to take damage and/or catch fire after a good hit/crash or several. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Soft Case Lipo's in/for RC Car's or Trucks!!!!!!
Thanks John, it sure does rip with 3S.... The thing that most people forget is, brushed motors need time to cool down after about 12 mins or less before you can run again... Guys today are like, oh I got 4000mah or 3300 or 6000, whatever... Brushed motors hitting 220 degrees F for 10 mins will burn it out, the lower the turn motor the less time you should run it. I don't like mine hitting over 180 degrees, then I let them cool completely before running again, even IF the battery still has "juice" in it, I stop at @ 15 mins of running..

The Clod Buster wheels & tires really help too.
What an absolute beast mate!!
You don't see many of these around...... certainly a modern classic!
Kicking up the dust on 3s....Superb!
👍 👍 👍
3S will wake up anything with a silver can 540.... LOL

Great run
Thanks man... I didn't know if this worked... I have no clue what I'm doing..... Glad the short went up.
awesome rip and rc
Thanks Brother.... 3S wakes anything up...
That's mental!!! I gotta try this Bob!!! 😅😅😎😎👍👍
3S does the same to a Clod (but only if you don't like the body). This is my first try at a short and probably the last. Yes, it's mental...

@@UncleBobsRC hi Bob, great advice my friend. Heeded 😉😊best wishes to you and the family 😉🙏😉
It rips Bob!😃
3S Lipo man, it really wakes up a stock 540 silver can motor (2 in this case).
Yeah, let there be dust! Cool, or should I better say "hot" run! Double the engine, double the fun! 👍
Thanks man, It's a blast on 3S but I don't do that all the time... Replacing motors isn't fun on this truck.
