I made a seconds channel because I missed making some photography videos - but that made sense for me being that bikes and cameras are such different topics. It seems to make a lot of sense for you to just transition into some broader health/tech topics as you are doing. The algorithm(audience) will work itself out. It is always worth making what you want to make and being a happy creative in my opinion. Good luck and go for it!

I've been sober for over 3 years now. Good for you man! Cycling has helped me stay clean and sober. Thanks for sharing that. Also the NA beers have come a long way! There are some great ones out there.

Been a subscriber for a few years now, and I've always appreciated your honesty, humility, and willingness to share your experiences and knowledge with this audience. I started for the bike content and to learn more, and your content has always been very encouraging and reassuring for me, especially when you share about challenges and injuries (something I've experienced this year personally). I look forward to seeing new and different content and wish you and your family good health, joy, and all the best with the arrival of the new little one. 😊

Those remote snowy Wisconsin gravel rides really hit different!

I’m older but we have a lot in common and share similar goals. I find everything you do interesting. Good subjects and edits and I love your super chill demeanor. The van conversion project turned me into a regular viewer. I had never heard of Born Ruffians and now I’m a regular listener. I’ll be watching.

Stoked that you're taking the direction you want to with your channel. Keep making epic videos, my dude!

I totally understand your need to take the channel in a different direction. Things are about to get very busy for you my friend with another little one on the way (congratulations)! I do however want you to know that you are one of THE BEST bike bloggers on RUclips. Your videos in Wisconsin when you are just out for an adventure ride are awesome. I love the commute blogs and adventure rides, they are what inspired me to put 3500kms on my gravel bike this year! Get on that Kona and do some blogs please, LoL. Congratulations on the new baby if we don't see you before then. Cheers

Dude! Follow your passions. I’m a cyclist through and through, and I’ll stick around for run stuff! Who knows? Maybe it’ll get my ass off a couch!

Found your channel from a hunt for Fenix 7 Pro info. Would have probably enjoyed the video you have on that and passed on by - but then noticed you “were” bike focused and that ‘spoke’ to me - as I’m all into wheels and spokes - but on the geared unicycling variety (that’s my channel’s single focus). It’s really great to shift focus from time to time - and if you’d not have shared stuff about your life I’d not have realised who you are / what’s behind the person speaking about X product etc.
So yeah - cool video and I take inspiration from your fitness and tech-health world.
Cheers and greets from Bath UK + we’ve got two young kids using cargo bikes to get us around! Felix

Hey! Thanks for sharing! Yeah most people like the gear reviews and/ or ride videos. I like to know a little bit more about the creators I follow so as of late have been sprinkling in more on my life ! Thanks for the support
      Cheers!

For a channel like yours I think the majority of subs (including me) are watching for your style video. Not just for the bikes! I think as long as your making content people will watch and channel will grow. Best of luck with the new one on the way! Cheers!

I switched to NA beers just to avoid the hangovers I started getting from just a couple drinks. Total game changer and I feel so much better. I love that the industry is really embracing it and putting out excelent options.

My guy, halfway thru the video and here are my thoughts as a very early subscriber.
Can-Man is growing up too fast.
Your best work from day 1 was when you were “stoked” on the content no matter what it was.
You can’t please everyone and you’ll never please yourself trying to.
Most importantly, I will ALWAYS love a video you’re enjoying making and passionate about even if it’s not bike related. Loved the van build out for that very reason.
Do you bud. That’s the only way you’ll keep the fire “stoked” and alive.

I’m a long time fan from the early stoked on spokes days. I’m here for the bikes, but I’ll stick it out and see what else you do. I get the burn out part, but personally have no interest in running. But you do you.

Really funny you put this out there. With winter, I traditionally have turned to indoor cycling or just been stagnating. But I just started doing yoga regularly and loving that. I have picked up a pair of barefoot shoes and wanted to start getting used to those and then start running.
That said, I am a major cycling fan and I'm sad that you won't produce as much bike content, but hopefully you'll give me some inspiration to start running in the winter. At least maybe go for a walk.... lol

I look forward to the "changes." As a cycling and running guy I enjoy seeing how others fit the riding/running into their routine without burning out. The ultra trail running community is one of the most supportive groups of people I've ever met.
