You guys are so cute! I love to see the travel vlogging contrast with you guys, vs Kara and and Nate, and Trev and Chels when it comes to food! Y’all are the real deal for non restrictions lol
I love that you're doing All The Things that I want to do in Japan! The egg salad sandwiches! The bullet train! Ramen! Sightseeing! Im having fun vicariously through your adventures.❤️🤗❤️
Y'all always have so much fun. Thank you both for sharing your travel journey with us *I vote Travel Spree is the #1 Travel Channel! Great people, great travel, great fun!!!
Hey Fain and Laura!!!! Enjoying your vlog as always. I'm loving all the places you visit and the food. I love new and exciting things. Thank you for sharing. Looking forward to the remaining videos.
@@TravelSpreeOfficial I'm flying to Japan next month (I know, it's gonna be brutally hot) and going through tonnes of videos re Japan lately, so yours show up on my recommended section, and so far enjoying your content. Keep it up. :)
That proves that we all travel differently. Kyoto is a definite visit for me just starting the video so hopefully you’ll find something else you like about it.
I found yalls cruise videos months ago and now watching yall branch out more doing different kinds of travel vlogs you got me hooked! Love love love please never stop making content!!!
I was in Kyoto at the end of last year and I had no problems or annoying encounters whatsoever being a tourist. I felt that the people in Kyoto are friendlier compared to busy Shinjuku, Shibuya etc. I recommend next time visting you learn a bit of ordering in Japanese because English is exactly well spoken throughout Japan, it helped me lots.
"We could be in Orlando, doing nothing" Hey I resemble that remark! Really enjoy your channel, and seeing your Japan brings back a lot of memories from when I lived there back in the 80s. Never made it down to Kyoto or ride a bullet train. If we get to go back, will definitely have to do that.
Team replay. Was stuck with glitches trying to book a flight so team replay today. 7 11 was your best friend 😂. Fain did his research well so just go with the flow is right Laura. Those trains 🚆 and the station is beautiful. It’s like a plane inside. I see you purchase your seats ahead of time so you it’s assigned seating via the ticket. 🎟️. Oh. Kyoto. Surprised more crowded than Tokyo. Omg. Japan is for the young and or fit. Soooo much walking. Public transportation. Tunnels. Up and down stairs 😩🫤 and you went the wrong way 🤷🏻♀️🤦♀️. Now the 🚆💺back. Get it Fain with the chopsticks 🥢. Well done. Love how you guys are navigating around. Thanks for sharing 🤗
HI! I am a Japanese living in Tokyo. Kyoto is very crowded with tourists these days, so I think it's difficult to go there on a day trip from Tokyo. You better to stay in Kyoto from the previous day and get up early in the morning to go to popular temples and shrines.
Yo the first time I had gone to Fushimi Inari Taisha was actually on a date where we both took amazing photos.... An experience that I'll always remember.
Love this series! Japan is definitely on my bucket list. My grandmother is from Kyoto, and I love that you guys went there so I could see it through you. Hope to get to Japan some day myself.
If the Shinkansen were to vibrate more or make louder running noises, you would feel speed. However, the Shinkansen is very quiet and has little vibration, so you won't know it's running at high speed unless you look outside.
Ughh LOVEEE this video! Thanks for keeping it real too, I’m trying to convince my party going in a couple years to AVOID the huge tourist areas. 😅 Japan is so huge and everyone just goes to a couple places lol Looks like so much I’m glad you found some more quiet spots.
There are some great non-tourist places in Kyoto. But we had a couple days in Kyoto so we explored a lot more. One of the best Yakatori places I had in Japan was in Kyoto! Was recommended by a Japanese friend. I can't remember the name, I just remember this fried cheese they had that was so good haha Just means you guys have to make another trip to Japan, darn ;]
7:26 btw, you will noticed the footrest has 2 different carpets. One side is for shoes and the other side is for no shoes. Can you guess which side is for shoes only?? Hint: Look at the isle carpet pattern.
I've lived in China for 5 yrs, 3 of which were with the HSR 305km/hr. I have seen as much of China as 53 yrs in Canada. We need it from Quebec City to Windsor but we will never get it! Half of Canada lives on that corridor.
Fain's use of Tokyo when he means Japan had me buggin! Also wild that you only went for a day, Kyoto's palace and Geisha district are worth a visit, plus the very touristy Bamboo forest is a great side mission. There’s so much to experience but only little time to see it all. Loving the Japan vlog so far.
Thank you so much for all you do!!...quick ?...Laura, what brand of shoes are you wearing? Looking for good waking shoes for our upcoming Alaska cruise...thank you ❤
Thank You come to JAPAN♩ Di'u enjoyed in KYOTO And enjoyed Japanese Food ? How do you think impression about JAPAN? Do you think come back to JAPAN again ? We waiting for you ♩
I love this whole Japan series!! When I see mass transit like this bullet train, it really bums me out that the United States is so far behind. It's like we just gave up after the interstate was developed. 😢 179 mph!! 😲
I think because he is taller & his strides are longer. Laura is short & legs are shorter. It's just hard to keep up with him. I get it. I'm 5'3 and most of my friends are taller than me and they just have longer legs 😅😅
I would love to go to Japan but only to Tokyo but i feel like I'd be conscious to break any rules.... Australia was my longest flight 23 hours and the best to date...who knows if Japan will knock it off the pedestal some day... EDIT: I love how Japanese people make foreigners comfortable by no taking pictures of them like certain countries I will not mention 😊.
You guys, Emma, and Ben and David are my favorite cruise bloggers. Thanks for the entertainment.

This series is making me less anxious to travel to Japan, thank you! And patiently waiting for the next couple of vlogs to drop 🥰
Glad it’s helping!! It’s so worth the journey!
6:51 Japan: there're 2 types of footrests. Floor-tone = shoes on, seat-tone = shoes off. Be mindful.😁
🤯 thank you! You can probably tell, we didn’t even notice
Good tip, I’ve been to Japan 3 times and I had no idea!
Thanks for coming to Japan!! 🇯🇵💞

I agree. Doing Kyoto in a day during the busiest times did not give them a good impression. I LOVE Kyoto.
Very cool thank you for sharing. Have a beautiful day.
This is so cool, thanks for sharing
Love this series! Living through your time in Tokyo, cause I know I will never make it there! 😁

I felt for Laura because Japan is such a fish heavy place but she navigated it perfectly.
Laura I think you look like Nicola Caughlin. I have been trying to figure it out who you remind me of! I can’t wait for the proposal
Love this!! My only complaint is that I have to wait a week for a new video!!! 😂
Those areas you visited that were very busy is not busy in the morning or at night. Amazing for night photography.
I’ve been enjoying your vlogs so much!
I'm so glad! Thank you for being here!
I love train rides, the longer the better.
You would’ve loved this!
Another great Japan vlog

She played you like a Game Boy with those mugs! 😂
Lol!

This is fascinating!!❤
Jealous of this trip! So funny that 7-Eleven is the go-to in nearly all of Asia. So clutch, especially the little coffees
It’s so addicting lol. Especially when you’re trying to explore so much and don’t have time to sit down and have a meal

Yeah if we could do it over again, we’d avoid the touristy spots. Just wasn’t worth it! But Kyoto was beautiful otherwise.
I wont be going to Kyoto. But i enjoy your videos so i watched the video of course. Cant waitttt to try the strawberry cream sandwhich~
Love your vlogs. Greetings from Nova Scotia, 🇨🇦
Glad to have you here!
I hoped you would get a "Bento box" at Tokyo station. There are over 150 kinds of fancy and yummy Bentos to sell at the shops.
Wish we had tried more!

I was going to say I think ya'll are going the back way through the gates, but it looks better with fewer people going that way
Lol yup! We’d probably do it the same way again. Little accidental hack
Omg your gray zip up and black top is CUTE!! please share where it’s from ❤
Thanks! The jacket is from old navy and the black top is from Amazon. I think we have the black top in our Amazon store (link in description)
Finessed to the fullest. Kudos Laura😂😂
😂😂😂
This reminded me of an episode of The Amazing Race! I can wait to watch all the episodes.

FINESSED - (I recognize it b/c I too have this skill and my hubs is unaware.) :)
Telling us that it smells good is more useful than you’ll ever know. Central Park looks so pretty but the smell of 400 years of urine is… something
Lol yup!! Honestly can’t remember any part of Tokyo or Kyoto smelling bad!
Little did Laura know what was about to happen 😮🥰
🥰
How were the bathrooms on the train?
Didn’t end up using them
