Alright. Who is going to be the first to send them some actual Rice Crispy treats?
They can't eat it (gelatin from pigs).
It's OK to use the puffed rice but yes the crispy rice is better.
😂😂😂
@@shampoovta If you do not mind your treats looking like a Maggot ball.
@@xippzap Ya I have to admit when my parents couldn't afford the brand name cereal the generic puffed rice was a let down. Now I eat Magic Spoon because😆 I am old
Someone needs to send them some real Rice Krispy treats......😊
Yes please, those are crispy crispy.....treats?
Yeah. Those looked like maggots.
@@lisalarouge6309 lol they fried their own rice thats all
They are not halal because of gelatin in the marshmallow
@@ryanlee6147 I think that is why they made their own, they will have used halal marshmallow to make them. I know Kelloggs use beef gelatin in their Rice Crispy Treats (Squares) but I do not know if it is halal beef gelatin. It would make sense if it was as it would mean they could sell them across the entire Arab and wider Muslim world as well.
Oh my god. That looks like the first rice crispy treat ever made with long grain wild rice!!!! Lol
swearrrrrrrrr
It was left in the sun by the look of it,or a Wallmart deal.
@@CHAUNCEY.GARDNER. looks like lumps of hash browns. but, i bet it was actually hand made. who knows, maybe it was better than what you and i know.
"weird painting made by a drunk painter" LOL .... and I absolutely love Rana's giggles. Love love love these four guys.
You could say the same thing about some of the stuff in the museums nowadays.
What would he think of Jackson pollock? 😂
💯
i've had a lot of rice crispys in my life and none of them looked like that
I think they were homemade or something...
seems like they cooked the mix
@@j.d.4697 Most of them are cooked homemade so....
It's a Pakistani's interpretation of a rice crispy treat. We need a westerner to offer cultural input before these western foods are chosen
@@fs5775 My mother always made them at home from scratch. They're much better home-made.
You need to get a box of Kellogg's rice crispies, and explain how it's eaten as a breakfast cereal with milk. Then show them how easy it is to make rice crispy cakes.
Need to add sugar to the cereal
I love this idea. No vanilla flavor. Just butter, marshmallows and rice crispies.

@@mairamanwaring9419 they can't have marshmallows
Mr. Chaudary has a mind for business. He also loves his family and his village. I wonder if he would set out to sell them and wind up giving them away to every child and elder around. His soft heart wouldn't let him turn anyone away. I hope that he does make them for his family. They're so easy to make and they probably are his favorite dish right about now.
He would invite everyone over to try his new treat, giving them a small portion. Then he would charge them all fairly afterwards. As long as it's enough to feed his family, and send the little ones to school, he'll be happy.
I doubt he can get his hands on Rice Crispies. Too bad. I wonder if he ever went back to the dentist for all his fillings?
Mr chaundry was going to start another channel I thought. What is it called?
My apologies Mr Chaudary.
@@j.h.3777 - And if he could get Rice Crispies, they are likely too expensive for him to buy.
A weird painting by a drunk painter is possibly my fav description of rice krispies squares!
I know, right? That comment was pure gold to me too!
That does not look like any rice crispy treat i have ever eaten.
But looks good nonetheless
Different kind of local rice, that is all. You can 'Puff" any type of rice, remember they do not have access to the bleached rice we normally use.
@@shawnadams1460 no, the marshmallow mixture is brown .
@@shawnadams1460 Yes they do. I'm pretty sure the producers have access to Amazon and many other online shopping sources where they can purchase the real thing. If they can upload videos to RUclips and monetize them, then they can easily order a box of the real thing online. They can also order bleached rice. But why do that when they can just order real Rice Krispies Treats online? They are sold internationally. And if they can't find those, then they can just buy some Rice Krispies cereal and some marshmallow creme to make it how it's supposed to be made. People act like these producers live in a cave and don't have access to international foods. But it's almost 2023 and they obviously have the internet. They also have cell phones, bank accounts, and mailboxes. 🤦
@@shawnadams1460 they have enough fans in the US and UK. If they put out a call for a specific product they cannot find in Pakistan, one of the fans will send it to them.
dude i'm going on 50 and i STILL love rice crispy treats. them things are like a drug and if i'm not careful i'll clear a plate easily xD
I have said for years, when I die, bury me with Rice Crispy Treats and some Tootsie Rolls...and I don't even eat that stuff anymore! LOL
I'm 63 and ate some the other day...have to limit or I'd eat a bowl full
GOD BLESS YOU WONDERFUL PEOPLE!! love your channel from OHIO USA!
You know, I've always used rice cereal, but I bet with toasted rice this actually tastes amazing. I bet with saffron and some seasame seeds this would be a hit.
It just might me really tasty.
Eeewwww
Sounds horrible

😅
I am so used to the American version of Rice Krispies Treats, but the ones that were made for them look pretty good too. I wouldn't mind trying what they had. Maybe add some dried fruits to the mix. Use their local spices to jazz it up even more. Now, that would be delicious!
Dried fruits in rice krispies no no it's a sweet treat not a fruity treat
@@RizPlaysYTgaming it can be fruity. Change it up a little.
@@RizPlaysYTgaming Fruit is sweet.
The marshmallow and butter is what gives it that distinctive flavor.
If you want to try it then fry up some rice instead of buying rice crispys
Wait wait wait. Did you use regular rice instead of Rice Crispys or puffed rice? Or maybe you puffed long grain rice? I'm just trying to figure out why I looks so different. They seemed to enjoy it regardless, so good job, but I'm still very curious. How did you make it?
The recipe you use is probably American but the first puffed rice with sugar was created by India 🇮🇳 and was a offering to the gods. So it is actually a Indian invention and is loved all over the world. Thank you India
It's just a different rice crisp cereal than we usually use. Butter, marshmallow, crispy rice. It's the same general idea.
I've been eating this dessert since I was a child many years ago, and these look better than any I've ever had before!
I was thinking the same thing.
Damn those rice crispy treats are looking rough
dude this is Krispy with long grain wild rice. like the first ever Krispy back in caveman times. with great great grandfather snap crackle and pop
Here's a foolproof French Canadian recipe we usually make during the holiday season. It is called Sucre à la Crème (Cream Sugar).
- 2 Cups Light Brown Sugar
- ⅔ Cups Evaporated Milk
- 1 tablespoon Unsalted Butter
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 Cups Powdered Sugar
1) In a saucepan, combine the sugar, milk and butter and cook.
2) Keep stirring until 240°F, using a candy thermometer.
3) Remove from heat and add the vanilla extract, powdered sugar and mix well.
4) Pour into a lightly greased dish (each portion should be at least 2cm thick) and let it cool.
The first crunch is somewhat granular, but it dissolve right away and the creaminess takes over. Perfect with warm milk or a strong Irish Breakfast tea.
Enjoy!

Fat Kart-I can usually picture what a recipe will look like, & the texture of it completed, but you’ve got me stumped on This one!!! Are other ingredients ever added, like with the Rice Krispie Treats of today, some add Reese’s pieces, M&M’s, Crushed Candy Canes, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips…?!? What size dish do you use to cool it in??? And Lastly, though it sounds like something that would disappear Very fast, what’s its approximate “shelf life”?!? I’m Always up for a new challenge in the kitchen,& This one has Definitely got my curiosity, & attention!!! Thank you, from Virginia USA!!!
@@cynthiamgrooms8195
[Q1] Does it become solid hard, or is it softer like a taffy when cooled?!?
[A1] I don't really know what taffy is but it looks pretty chewy! So *no* it is not like taffy. I guess it is closer to fudge in terms of consistency.
[Q2] Do you Cut it into portions, or break it like peanut brittle?!?
[A2] Yes, you cut it into squares, like a brownie.
[Q3] Do you store in the refrigerator or out-I’m guessing in an airtight container or ziploc either way!?
[A3] If you plan on munching on it from time to time, I'd suggest leaving a few portious at room temperature on a small plate, with a plastic wrap. The rest can go in the fridge or freezer. Salt, fat and sugar are natural preservatives, so don't worry about it: it will dry out way before showing any sign of molds!
[Q4] Are other ingredients ever added, like with the Rice Krispie Treats of today, some add Reese’s pieces, M&M’s, Crushed Candy Canes, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips…?!?
[A4] Not that I know of. Keep in mind that this recipe is 100+ years old. during the Great Depression, and was made by people with a very limited budget. All the working class could afford was brown (unrefined) sugar and molasses. But since the recipe is so simple, By all means, you're more than welcome to try any idea that comes to mind!
[Q5] What size dish do you use to cool it in???
[A5] Like any new recipe, always start with the smallest size you can. That way, not only will you know if you like it or not, but it will give you the feel of how the ingredients work together. When you grow more confident, keep adjusting the things to your taste. Recipes shouldn't feel like alchemy, but rather like a template from which you evolve according to your taste, budget and mood!
[Q6] And Lastly, though it sounds like something that would disappear Very fast, what’s its approximate “shelf life”?!?
[A6] It's pretty much like a jar of honey. It will crystalize and become virtually non-perishable! So "very long" is the only answer I can give you, sorry!
Worst case scenarion, there are plenty of videos out there, if you want better visual references.
Cheers, from Montreal!
Welp, looks like I'm going to the grocery store today. 😄

Send them one of those giant ones they sell now for christmas
When I was young in 1960s/70s Ireland, my mother had a 'bake' day once a week on a Thursday, when she made all sorts of sweet things like cakes and buns. One of my favorites was a rice crispy 'tray bake' cut into squares - golden syrup was a key ingredient. Even better was the chocolate version, which we called chocolate rice crispy squares, these guys would love it. But even better is something a cousin in America sent to me a few years back called 'puppy chow', I'd love to see these guys eat the same or similar.
Now, you must supply us with the "Puppy Chow" recipe!
Yes, I remember my mom making this and Chex mix around Christmas time.

By the looks of the comments they will be swimming in Rice Crispy treat.
But they might not be "halal" so they probably won't eat them :(
Rice Crispy Treats are so good.
Somewhere I found a recipe to make those using cocoa and peanut butter...that Reese's flavor thing. OMG.

My granddaughter takes Rice Krispie treats in her lunch to school, and I did the same for my children, and had the same when I was a child! We very much enjoy them!
Please, someone send them a box of Rice Krispy cereal and halal marshmallows. They have butter there. They can also eat the cereal plain and hear the snap crackle pop!
Although it looks different, I’m sure it still tasted delicious! People need to stop being so snobbish about having things looking the exact same as we do. I’d love to try this variation on a childhood favorite treat! 😊
i liked rice crispy whith chocolat too!!!
Mr. Rana thought there was cheese in it 😂😂😂 I love rice crispy treats ❤❤❤ Dover Delaware USA❤❤❤
I remember my grandma making these in the late 1980s then mid 90s rice crispie sqaures came out. Don't see too many of the tray bakes in UK supermarkets these days which is a shame as chocolate cornflake/rice crispie cakes are lovely too 👍🏻👌🏻🤤
I also really like puffed wheat / chocolate tray bakes, they're really yummy.
Such a pretty color shirts. Love it when you actually give them something they like. These guys are my favorite.
I notice my friends use the descriptions bland and spicy in nearly every video. I know the subtitles aren't 100% accurate so if there is anyone out there that speaks punjabi (I think that's their language) please tell me exactly what they mean. Thanks!
The word they use for bland (phika) generally describes a really mild flavour or something that doesn’t have a huge impact on your tongue. Usually when bland is used to describe something in English it’s talking about a lack of flavour altogether, phika is more like saying it’s a muted flavour.
It can be used to describe colour as well, a phika colour is one that’s unsaturated (think pastels), it’s not to say there’s a lack of colour but rather a lack of intensity and that applies when it’s used to describe the flavour of food too.
In this case when Rana said it was both bland and sweet he’s saying it’s got a very delicate mild flavour and what stands out is the sweetness
As for spicy depending on the word they use it can range from them meaning to say it’s genuinely spicy, it’s well seasoned, if feels intense on the tongue, it’s rich, or there’s multiple recognizable spices they can taste in the dish. I’ve noticed often times when they use the word spicy in the translations the guys don’t mean it to say it’s hot and generally mean to say it’s a bold flavour or a surprising flavour.
In Punjabi when we describe food it’s about how much that flavour fills your mouth if that makes sense. Something “spicy” fills your mouth and is heavily flavoured and something “phika” feels lighter or emptier in your mouth flavour wise.
My Mother made them with Kellogs Rice Crispies and condensed milk. They were gorgeous.
Wait, what? Please elaborate!
I've never heard of this but I'd like to try. Does the condensed milk replace the butter?
Umm that's not a rice krispie 😂😂😂😂
WHAT is that on their plates!? "It looks like a weird painting made by any drunk painter" is spot on.
I just made rice crispy treats not an hour ago! I came back to my mac with a square of rice crispies and found these guys eating them! What a coincidence. Mine don't look burnt like theirs do. And mine aren't huge chunks like theirs, either. But I hope they like them and are happy to try something new.
There's no cooking when making rice crispy treats why would they be burnt. Melted marshmallows and Rice Crispy Cereal. Simple.
@@monkeysage6447 Burnt butter and marshmallows will make the treats look burnt. Made properly they would look whitish.
I know there's a Korean version of Crispy Rice that is sometimes mixed with sugar syrup or saccharin syrup. They're usually shaped into round circles the size of a small pizza. Though, I really prefer the soft gooey brown rice squares filled with jujubes and pine nuts of Korean sweets. It's known as Yaksik.
Yaksik is possibly the worst name for a food ever.

I just came from watching the Langoliers for the millionth time and now I noticed as I had this tab open all day that the title says Rice Crispies lol. It’s a little like Rice Crispies after you pour in the milk is what Dinah said earlier haha.
American mothers have been making for decades, school lunches & after school snack ! 🇺🇸😃
My daughter is Vegan. There are Vegan marshmallows out there that are the same. Also, if they eat the rice as cereal, be sure to have the kids listen to the bowl after adding milk, for the Snap, Krackle and Pop!
I believe marshmallow fluff from the jar can be used in place of marshmallow if the gelatin in marshmallows is a concern. I think the fluff doesn't contain gelatin. Maybe someone can send some of that and some Rice Crispy cereal to use to try next time!
I tried that & it just doesn't hold together like it should. Someone here could buy the halal marshmallows or pre-made halal rice crispy treats.

It saddens me that Tahir thinks this is nutritious. Pure sugar straight to the brain. I ate Rice Crispies as a child and remember making them but wouldn't touch them now. It would have been helpful to explain that the rice used is a puffed boxed breakfast cereal. Also it's a snack not a meal, for Pete's sake. I've been watching awhile and sometimes I am frustrated that some of the most basic explanations are missing that would help them understand what they are given. Lastly, the guys are constantly lamenting that they aren't given their traditional bread with the meals they are trying. That is missing the point of trying a dish from another country where such breads aren't served with it.
Somebody send these men some rice krispy treats.
It would be fun to teach them to make it!🎉
Thanks to all and Merry Christmas 🎅🎄❤
So many great desserts these wonderful gents have yet to taste.... top of my mind: caramel flan, key lime pie, strawberries jubilee, peach melba, creme brulee....
Those are more "crispy rice treats" than they are "Rice Krispie treats"
Give them some tea to wash down the semi Rice Krispies.
Puffed rice can be made over a fire with the proper pressure-cooker and a lot of turning. There's a bit of an art to get the cooking time perfect. Opening the cooker is explosive fun! Definitely in tune with gatherings.
3:50 Yeah, I can see "marshmallow = cheese." Time to make a toasted marshmallow sandwich!
The “rice” in the “rice Krispy” is pretty much a breakfast cereal known as “Rice Krispy’s Cereal” and they put marshmallow and - I’m guessing some people put butter (not sure on the butter) but the marshmallow is supposed to bind the cereal together into those delicious treats.
The thumbnail of the rice crispy treats was kind of odd looking, but what they were served was stranger yet. If the proper ingredients cannot be had, or the preparation is inaccurate, then you should serve them something else with a different name. You shouldn’t serve something and call it something it’s not.
Today, Marshmallow is just sugar and oil with vanilla flavouring. Back in the day, Marshmallow was prepared with a flower called the Marsh Mallow. It had a unique flavour not unlike vanilla... thus it's name... ~Marshmallow.
Endless joy every bite! ;)
anybody else the rare times when your parents would use fruity pebbles instead of rice crispys to make the same treat? :P
Not yet, but we've used coco crispys before..
Wait... what?!?!
Why was this not part of my childhood? I feel cheated.
I tried it recently with coco krispies and it was too sweet.
@@Starsk25 it might just depend on regional tastes or even personal tastes. i grew up in the southern US so we had an old saying that still gets floated around from time to time. "A Day without sugar is a Day without sunshine" xD
@Starsk25 I can't say I disagree with you on that point. They're essentially tiny pockets of air inside almost microscopicly thin crusts of rice starch, encased in a gooey mixture of high fructose corn syrup and butter. There's no nutritional value to speak of in those things. I don't believe nutrition is the point, though.
That being said, when I was younger, before sugar began to turn my stomach, they were my absolute favorite snack. I kind of miss being able to enjoy them, TBH.
They enjoyed it. Tastes gr8. good time was had by all. That's what counts 😋
They are eaten all over the World. We used to call them Rice Bubble cakes or Rice Bubble slice when I was young.
I have never seen a brown Rice Krispy in my life, they would love them the original way.
Over 45 yrs I've made rice crispys *never* have they looked that way 🤨
Stay safe & Much love ~
So, yeah, for the guys, "Rice Krispies" are a cereal made out of rice flour. Basically turned into small puffed flakes shaped sort of like rice, but mostly air. We typically eat them by putting them in milk, where they kind of "snap" / "crackle" / "pop" while soaking up the milk and getting soft / soggy. Honestly, not really sure what the chemistry or physics is that makes them do that (the crackling)??
Anyway, "rice krispies treats" are made by taking the dry cereal and mixing it into a mixture of melted marshmallows, sugar, butter, etc, then spreading it out in a tray and allowing it to cool again, so the marshmallow mixture gets hard again. Then it's cut up into squares and served as a snack / dessert.
Not particularly good for you, or for your teeth, on account of all the sugar in it. But tasty and fun to eat! In moderation. ^_^
Their taste bud is so sharp thet can taste the ingredients
rice crispy treats are easy to make. you just need 3 things really. marshmellow creme, butter, and rice crispy cereal. mix it all together and spread it out in a pan to set up and cool. cut in to squares and eat. it's rather sticky so I wouldn't suggest putting it in your pocket unless you have it wrapped in something.
Chaudary wanted the recipe for Rice Crispies. Here you go my friend. Now the trick is to get the marshmallows and Krispy cereal
Ingredients
6 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
6 cups rice Krispie's cereal
8 tbsp butter unsalted
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
In a large sauce pan over medium heat, melt 8 tbsp of butter.
Once butter is melted, add 5 cups of mini marshmellows. Mix constantly until fully combined.
Then, add vanilla extract. Mix until combined and remove from heat.
Add in 6 cups of rice krispies cereal and 1 cup of mini marshmellows. Mix throughly.
Transfer to a baking dish lined with parchment paper. Spread out evenly pressing down just enough to form. This step is very important and will lead to crispy and gooey treats!
In a small microwave safe bowl, add remaining 1/2 cup of mini marshmallows. Microwave in 5 second intervals until smooth. Drizzle over rice Krispie treats and let cool.
Cut and enjoy!
Haven’t finished video, but title tells me already Chaudry gonna love this😂🤣😂
I LOVE them!!!❤
I think they would Love the Original Rice Krispy treats ❤
We made you rice crispys, but we were out of sugar and used beef bouillon instead. It is a favorite dessert in western nations
Another great unique culinary treat
I don't ever remember there being " Vanilla Extract " being used in the making of rice crispy treats? It was always just butter and marsh mellow.
At least at my house. I also remember they never survived 24 hours. We would use the largest jar of mash mellow cream we could buy, and the largest box of rice crispy's.
Rice Crispy treats are so much better with chopped strawberries added and strawberry jam on top.
😕
Never heard of that one before..
Wow, that's a different Rice Crispy treat from the cliche American ones. I would like to try it, looks good! Classic lunchbox dessert
The rice looks toasted whereas in the west it is plain puffed rice.
Now I want Rice Krispy treats. I haven't had any in so long because i mostly stick to a low carb/keto diet.
The homemade kind are the best because of the butter.
I think they need to know that the Rice Crispy treats we make in North America are OK for an occasional treat, but they are mostly sugar, and are neither nutritious nor filling. Even the 'marshmallow' used is basically sugar, corn syrup and gelatin, unlike historical confections made with the root of the marshmallow plant.
Thank you...NOW I have to try the jaggery syrup and Honey recipes...🙂

Those guys are so cool 😍
Those don’t look like rice crispy we make in US, lol. We make ours with marshmallows and puffed rice cereal.

My grandpa would make this for us when I was a kid.
