Hi, such great advise Jackie re listening to your body. Before I was on Mounjaro I would have to eat under 1000 cals to lose weight which was hard to keep up but on Mounjaro its so easy to eat under 1000 cals. I'm on week 6 now and lost just over 1stone. So so happy. Well done with your weight loss x

Due to go on 5mg on Tuesday, hoping to reach my goal by week 10. Ive been eating between 12pm and 5pm,which works for me,and walk jog 10000 steps a day. Good luck to everyone on their journeys
I got a ‘telling off’ from a big RUclipsr for mentioning the reduced clicks way of taking MJ 😂. I don’t even do it myself but was trying to offer helpful advice to someone struggling. Well done on your continued weight loss. I am suffering with the sulphur burps and can get them on a completely empty hungry stomach. Just back from a trip and delaying weigh in cos I feel that even though I have not overeaten I am still massively bloated and inflamed.
keep a close eye on everything you eating particularly fried or spicy, stay bland, I'm doing it my way with the clicks working great for me and its up to each person how they do it, noone sitting in judgement here, sending you some healing xxx
Great job Jackie. You are losing much faster than I am. I have lost 25# in 11 weeks on MJ. I eat from 800-1100 calories and breaking that down it is under 20g total carbs, about 80-100 g protein, and 50-60 g fat. Today is an average calorie day with about 950 calories. I watch carbs very closely because of T2D. I eat that amount of fat/protein to keep satiety high. Some days it isn't needed but can tell today is a greater hunger day
it makes so much sense to log your intake sounds like you are doing great. I don't really touch carbs as make me very tired so can be difficult what to eat sometimes but seems what your doing works for you. everyone's different so don't pay attention to others your doing great hun keep going xx
@ my diet is ketovore. Under 20 g total carbs are incidental carbs that are in everything we eat even some meats. The whey protein and heavy whipping cream we have indeed have carbs because dairy has lactose (milk sugars). The SAD method of eating may have as many as 300+ carbs in it.
You and I are similar mindset and macros for food and calories. I don’t try too hard with staying to lower calories but I am usually around 1200 but a hungry day will be 1500-1600 and I am about 24lbs down in week 9. I think it is important to feed that hunger when it shows up but not go crazy. To me that’s helping reset my mind mentally also. Good luck with you continued success.

Good video, Jackie! My name is Kerry. I too am just starting week 10 and have lost 24 pounds. I had virtually no weight loss at all until I titrated up to 5 and then to 7.5. Next week I go up again to 10. Apparently my body doesn't naturally produce enough GLP and I over-produce insulin so the higher doses are doing the trick at about 800 calories like you. I keep back 2.5 and take it 3 days after the first dose. For example, I take 5 mg on Saturday and the final 2.5 on Tuesday. Other than the normal constipation issues which I have under control, I have zero side effects and so much less food noise. Clothes aren't an issue as, like many large women, I have the thin "okay, getting sort of towards normal sizes" wardrobe, the "oh, okay, it's not too bad" wardrobe and the "oh my God, I'm immense and can't fix this in a hurry" wardrobe. I just packed away all of my US size 24 jeans and hauled out the size 22s so all is well. Next will be the 20s, hopefully before Christmas. The 18s await. Thank you for documenting your journey!

Hello Jackie, I’m on Mounjaro too now, taking my second dose tomorrow and doing great. The way you do your doses you use your pen longer than a month. I would like to do that too, but just a little bit worried because they advise you not to use it longer than a month. But I guess when you store it in the fridge and the fluids stay clear there’s no problem. What is your opinion? I ❤ all your videos they are so informative, Mounjaro has been just on the market in Belgium for obesity, only on prescription, so my doctor isn’t that familiar with it. So I am grateful to have found you. Which RUclipsrs do you follow? I also like mrs M, but she’s doing only monthly videos on Mounjaro. There is a sell by date on your box usually 2 years from manufacturing i keep mine in the fridge and is good for that time scale, if you take out of fridge then I believe u have to use within 6 weeks, I don't follow anyone else on youtube which is why I started one as most are US. but it is one of those situation for everyone it's different so what might work for me won't work for you. if you have a nosey at previous videos hopefully it should answer any questions you might have, best of luck and let me know how u get on, you must take measurements and get some before pics that eay you will see results. xx
each pen has 60 clicks when you wind the end to one after you have primed it. You can wind only 30 clicks instead which will take the plunger out half way so you will only inject half the dose of the pen. so if your pen is 5mg 30 clicks will be 2.5 x
