So when the thermal and phone is mounted. How do you see your phone screen when scanning out to the hard right and your phone screen is now facing way out to the left ? Better with a stationary mount for your phone or iPad mounted to the bike/ dash area. I use one in my 4x4 with iPad mounted on the dash
Yes it definitely would be better to have the phone or tablet dash mounted. The phone mount I used here is actually meant to just use hand held but although not ideal it is still possible to use like this. Like I said in the video, it is very modular and you can buy all the bits individually to suit your needs. 👍
The jiggling tight beam when driving will alert critters something's up, the wary won't be seen with some species. Has its place, & stopping and scanning and speed will reduce the issue where relevant.
@@shalininaicker it is in places where it is prolific but the cactoblastis grubs keep them in check. They aren’t a problem here at all. We actually feed them to the cattle if it get dry. They eat all the high leaves that don’t have as many prickles in them.

Exactly right mate. That’s why it’s not for me but it does have its place.
Isn't catcus considered to be a pest weed ?
