Mam..where is maxi.pressure in pressure-angle diagram u told that in point B.
But I think maxi.pressure should be in point C

Sorry ma'm but i think at A spark starts before 20° of TDC and at B ignition starts before 8° of TDC...and 20 - 8 represents the Ignition lag

Actually, it is like at A the spark is produced and pressure slowly rises but it can't be noticed, the rise in pressure is observed at point B.and the time between them is named as IGNITION LAG. This is what I think, please correct if I am wrong.

Mam, why does the mixture starts burning at 8deg before the tdc? Couldn't it start combusting exactly at tdc?

There is a clearance Volume in cyclinder head between the spark plug and TDC where combustion can start after compression stroke
