OH MY GOSH ITS SO CUTE I am watching this video, and since im mostly new, i dont know many stitches. So, i listened to what you told us to do, and then i wandered around RUclips to find a tutorial for that stitch! Im still on row 3, but its so fun!! Thank you for sharing this kitty 😊 Edit: i messed up on row 4 when i accidentally dropped two stitches and tried to get them back but connected the stitches together somehow, idk but ima try again tomorrow wish me luck 🤞 😅 Edit: I tried again and I'm on row 5 with only 3 failed attempts WOOHOO Edit: Starting over again i only have 37 😢 Edit: 67th time so far I'm on the 6th stockinette I'm kinda giving up
Gina, I love your knitting video's! You make them short and simple! I have trouble watching long video's with a lot of talking. So thank you so much for your knitting video's! Please make more soon!
Hello! I love your patterns! But I’m having some troubles with your flat knit elephant, can you please do a tutorial on that one so I can better understand? keep up the great work and thank you! 😊
Great tutorial! I wish I could comment a picture of the cat I knitted because I definitely messed up somewhere and it looks so funny 😂! The first ones always a little off though
This is really cute - but I am already working on a project with my only thin yarn. Will this also work alright with thicker yarn? I’m trying to make something other than a scarf but not too complicated because I’m not very good at knitting yet and this seems like a perfect idea.
Progress : I am on Row 20 EDIT : I finished it a while back :) I stuffed it too little though, so it's a little lumpy. Knitted dolls apparently need a lot more stuffing than you think is needed to keep its shape.
I started knitting this and the written pattern said to purl across row 6. In the video you say to work 12 rows of stockinette stitch no purl row. Could you please clarify if I do the purl row? Thank you.
has anyone found the actual written tutorial from the link? i dont see it....after searching more i found if i signed up for the newsletter i could access the pattern..thx
hi im trying to do this but im having trouble with doing pearl knitting, it just comes out as a knit stitch. I’ve watched lots of turtorials, does anyone have tips
Are you definitely inserting your needle into the front loop on the front side of the needle, if you do it in the back loop it won’t come out as a perl
Can someone help me please. I am a beginner and im struggling with the last stich on the first increase stitch row, row 3? I cant seem to slip it off and end up with 2 stitches, its always 1 . Tia
@@slothtree8413I would try the channel Sheep and Sticth if your just learning how to knit! I"s a great place to start to learn the basic methods! You can learn how to cast on ( get the yarn on the needle), knit, and purl! She also has other tutorials for projects that she will knit with you. The assumption for this video was probably that you knew how to do all those things already. So the person didn't state how to do those things.
@slothtree8413 The first technique is cast on , knitting then she starts to increase stitches. I think there's also videos on how to do these stitches on the channel :)
I slow down RUclips videos in the settings wheel, to half or a quarter or three-quarter speed when learning something, pause and repeat when I need to. Works very well.

Hi, I like this pattern I was wondering if I can use a worsted weight yarn with this pattern?
Hi...can u show more animals in knitting plz
I have a bunch more free animal knitting patterns here- gina-michele.com/category/knitting-patterns-for-kids/ (I'm working on more videos 😊)
@Gina Michele thanz alot for guiding me...
I spent hours trying to find knitted animals and crochet is the only thing that would pop up.
Thank u once again lord bless you..
Such a helpful video!!! I’m brand new to knitting, what is that needle called that you’re sewing it shut with?
It is a yarn needle
Usually it is labelled "tapestry needle".

Aww this is so cute! Quick question, do you have of the name of the yarn that you used. I am loving this dark fall look that these kitties have
love this..quick and easy go follow
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
I love it. So easy.

I learned my lesson quickly. Probably not. I tried it with thick yarn and it was a big tangled mess
How tall is the kitty when done?
If I wanna make it bigger, would doubling the cast on quadruple or double the size? @ginamichelle
Help! If I double the amount I cast on, how do I double the rows?
mine turned out decent HAHAH. to be fair, it was my first (real) knit project tho :') it only took me about 6/8 hours to make HAHAHAH
Wow beautiful.
Thank you!

stockinette stitch is alternating knit and purl rows so that the front of the work shows only knit stitches
Wait so stockinette is like one full row normal knitting and one row purling?

Is there a way to print the pattern without all the ads? I was going to print it but it says 36 pages
