These are awesome, good work and video
For the first time, I saw cement and wood coming together. 👏
Love cubic coaster
By far the best coaster creation video on RUclips!
Wow thanks Terri!
Beautiful coasters! I love the one with the resin the most!
Definitely a fan favorite!
Great work my man, love the rubik's cube coasters!

Thanks R Dezi!!! stop by any time!

Thanks Norbert!
Very well done, Nice job.
Thanks Rajesh! Give it a try.. all super easy and make great gifts!
Good tip on sanding the coasters before you cut them apart. I wish I had though of that (If you catch my video next week you will see that I did it the long and hard way) Great coasters, thanks for sharing!
O yeah I am trying to be more mindful about sanding and finishing at appropriate times. I have a video coming out soon that did not work out that way haha.
The wood metal you have be cool to put cement in middle there too. Have dark wood and cement or even resin would look good too
next time!!!!
Great video, not sure why you don't have more viewers.
Me either Doug! but I appreciate yours!
Nice video, Kev! Very cool looking coasters! Maybe one day I'll take the plunge into the epoxy resin craze with you 😅
Come drink the Kool Aid DK, theres plenty!
I used regular clear packing tape from Ace Hardware no problem.
I found using just regular ply wood, coating it or basicly painting it with a thin layer of epoxy, and then waxing it is a more cost effective way to make a mold...
awesome video. does anyone know the song he used in the background?
Thanks! Laid Back Summer on Premiumbeat
Great stuff, maybe try posting different variations on one kind (like the cement one) so that you can post more and get suggested by youtube's algorithm.
Solid idea!!! All about beating that algorithm :P
@@KevBotWorkshop You should also post your videos to a few select subreddits like /r/woodworkingvideos, /r/diy, /r/crafts etc. Usually more than half of my views on the first day of a video come from reddit posts.
@@dkbuilds yeah I gotta get more diligent in posting my videos there.
What’s the difference between cement and concrete ? Which is better for coasters?
Actually cement is an ingredient in concrete. What i used here is grout. Whatever you use, you want it to be strong. This precision grout is plenty strong without any additives like glass fiber or rebar (though I used screws like it in these coasters just for extra strength.) Mine our plenty strong.. I accidentally dropped one of them on the ground 3 or 4 times until it cracked. The cork bottom actually helps it stay together.
KevBotWorkshop thank you so much for your feedback appreciated
Не, ну конечно так ничёшно, но по моему с бетоном это перебор. Подписался.
