Can this be used as a permanent crown as an alternative to emax and zirconia? Also any glazing or staining required? Could you make a video about that? Thanks.. 😊
most likely this is a resin polymer crown of some sort. not as long lasting as ceramics and zirconia. in a pinch better than nothing or large composite. also resin crowns need occasional repolish because of shine dulling and stain absorption.
Permanent crown resin strength depends on the resin manufacturer. It ranges from about 80 MPA on the low end (temp crowns) and ~200 MPA on the higher end.
@@ValhallaGuild my bad 😅answering this from an airplane between conferences so lost the context... Flexural Strength 136 MPA Shear Bond Strength 34.7 MPA Flexural Modulus 7.6 GPa
Same bonding protocols as you would use for emax or a hybrid material. Sand blast the intaglio, prime and bond the intaglio. Etch, desensitize, and bond the tooth. Use your resin cement of choice.

Hows the strength of the crown? 300mpa?
