+Sergio Acuña Padin That piece of plywood that You glued using epoxi to push the router, I have an upgrade suggestion, instead using epoxi, You could buy 4 of same type but 3mm more longer, make the holes and replace the original one, making this it turns easier to make any needed repair or cleansing at the router.
Sergio Acuña Padin im not sure how is that BnDecker baseplate, but on my Dewalt there are enough screw holes to securely mount the base. The countersink head you would see on the top of the table, but i think its only a matter of aesthetic rather than function.
Sergio Acuña Padin ahhhh ok now i got it! Yeah.. In this case i would say its definitely worth to make a metal insert plate. 4mm steel plate. But i do understand some people have no equipments to do that, so now i got it what's the point with this video! Well done!

"That old router needs some repairing due to a broken bearing" one more reason to use a longer screws...

Why not countersink head machine screws?
