- In this VLOG, I go through repainting my 2nd goalie mask. I'm quite happy with how this one turned out. Note that I am NOT an airbrush artist or professional painter. Just a guy who likes to try things. This was my 3rd time using an airbrush in my life, so I know my technique isn't good and the final result isn't perfect.
Not bad at all!!!! Jealous of your spray booth!!! I’m a goalie myself, and have air brushed about 23 masks. Nice to see you using wicked paint!!! Nice job with the clear!!
This appears magnificent! Cannot hold on to look at a lot more like this. Great job.
Great job! Looks awesome.
This looks extraordinary! Can't hide my anticipation to see more like this. Great job.
Joey!!! I’m about to paint a mask for guy...finally have a decent set up since I moved to town house..I bought a pop up spray booth tent, bought filters from Costco for it, and a fan. New respirator as well. I will post a video at some point
Nice. Looking forward to it.
Great work!!!!
Wow! That looks pretty professional to me. It's so cool to see the process working through all the layers. For a guy who just likes to try things this is kind of amazing!
Thanks! Since I've started airbrushing my own masks, I have started to offer some work to other goalies in my area. You can check out the artwork on my IG page (JV_Airbrush)
Amazing!
you showed up on my YT feed somehow and I just remembered I was supposed to do a mask with you before the pandemic LOL
Nice work!
So is this an automotive style clear coat over water based paint? I have someone asking about helmet artwork from me. I'd prefer to do the artwork in acrylics but not sure what to seal it with.
Yes, the colours are Wicked and Createx waterbourne colours. The clear is 2K automotive clear.
How much for a paint. Job
I charge between $200 and $400 as I'm still learning and can't do everything
