Awesome, I always love to watch and learn hoe to better myself. I have a question though, what kind of paint are you using that allows you to mask over it so quickly without it pulling up? I use Createx and do MX helmets and have trouble still with remasking
Awesome video Jay! Your so good big guy! I will be starting a mask tomorrow for a friend, Oilers theme...I will be painting oil drops, logo, last name on it, lines and a pink heart...I love all your videos! Thanks for your effort in creating these videos!
Hey Jay, I have been watching your videos for a bit now, it kept me motivated when I was deployed overseas last year. I am wondering what type of paint you use and the stencil you sware by? What size airbrush needle you use and what do you use for placing your design/outline on your mask, is it vinyl? Thanks again for the videos. I hope you release more, I am certainly interested in other videos, this is all new to me and I love to learn. Thanks Jay
I know it's been a while since you've uploaded anything, but I'd really love to see some more how to videos. I'd love to learn how you do your detailed images just by cutting pre mask. I have a tough time getting really good cuts without scoring the mask itself. Thanks
Great shown. Indeed, the difference is huge and the camera showed it well. Thank you very much for your time. Have a nice day.
thanks for the video. I am about to paint a mask, and am searching madly for a video to help. yours are the best ive found so far!
I’m really considering having you guys do my goalie helmet when I get it cause you do amazing paint jobs!
Thank you for the tips.

same me!
What do you, and other mask painters, use for clear coats? What is appropriate for goalie mask in terms of durability?
Hi Jay, I was wondering if you do shippings, like, I live in Saskatchewan, and I can't find anyone to do custom masks around me, thanks.
Yes I do. You can get all the info at www.jayplant.com or drop me an email. jay@jaypant.com
Could you do a video of stenciling
What dimensions do you use for logos and decals on your masks?
The size of the stencils etc depends on the mask and the overall design layout. I make them in Coreldraw and size them accordingly.
As you said "This is the easiest way to do it"!
Do you use auto motive paint or something els
Yes. It is all automotive paint.
Any specific brand that you feel works better than others
I love how your paint dries so quickly lol. .must be because it's ppg eh...I don't think I could do it with wicked...?
You need to work a little slower with the water based stuff. Lighter coats and heat setting helps.
Jay Plant thx Jay. .quick response big guy! Still up lol :)
I'm hoping to lay some paint down tomorrow.
