The Motor which is in the VF is the same motor in the Camaro ZR1 & the Corvette ZR1.
Murphy hustled that car across the top of the mountain, was chewed on Conrod tho
@jamie Fookes You are kidding...right. The V8 motors in the SS & the HSV's are fully imported. Just do a Quick google search.
the production cars dont't have be stripped down and rebuilt after a few hours of driving.
How did the lap time of the road going VX compare to the times of the touring cars of the 1980s and 90s?
So. 1000W = 1Kw. My microwave is 1000w.
If I had 431 microwaves. I would have more power then this car. And the cost of this would be like way less then some crap car getting beaten by a microwave. Plus I Could have a crappy burrito
Come on the road cars especially the VF is just a fat pig at 2 tonnes and doesn't have anywhere enough power, 400kW is nothing. The VX is about 250kg+ lighter but only 300kW and not a lot of torque. Also the suspension of the road cars is way too soft to be competitive and the VX would be underbraked for sure.
For those of us who aren't gay 430 kW = 576 HP
Here is the skinny on the V8 Supertourer engines. They are hand built at the Performance Build Centre in Michigan, USA. Holden Australia has no part at all in these engines.
Yo who here has tattoos and smokes? Also who tins their the big dog in the maccas drive through? Okay now all the NA Holden fans are here who give turbos shit. Do you really think your holdens are going to beat a gt3rs? Heck you probably hate electric too, yall think you will beat a lotus evija?
1/2hr later they could have let Godzilla loose on the track and it would have finished first. Super cars was sooooooooo boring compared to the touring cars that it replaced.
the falcon has more power straight outta the factory,, both on the Dyno.. Holden 314rwkw Ford 334rwkw.. dont take my word for it.. do a search
Cool and all ur atleast a V8 e90 won’t make you look like a drug abuser or a damo with a muffler delete smoking in hi car at the maccas drive in
Annon didn't tell people about 5 Liter V8 Supercar he told about road car but Race car engine sizes
Wilson Nancy Williams Edward Lopez Linda
Well racing suspension vs production suspension
That showed the VX GTS looking pretty good
That whole lap was orchestrated Murphey was just cruising
I don't just like this... I love it!
Vx sandbagged just before the finish line the nose dipped like he touched the brake
I was impressed with the whole thing, those road cars with normal tyres, brakes and suspension and no stiffened chassis and all that weight did really well. Mind you, the guys driving also knew what they were doing. Imagine Barry Numbnuts trying a lap at that speed!!!
yea a dicky johnson re enactment at forest elbow
mangrove jack channel 9 camero lol
The V8 Supercars destroyed Bathurst and the race became a YAWN event
As a Holden fan I would have to agree. It was a lot more interesting when it was the group A formula.
@Joe Blogs The Australian car manufacturing died the day GM purchased holden - amazing how Holden were so innovative in their day, developing the common platform build with several different models (from sedans, wagons and vans) coming of the same manufacturing line by necessity due to the smaller market - there is a very good RUclips video which shows just how innovative Holden was - far ahead of the game and destroyed by detroit - ruclips.net/video/XOCILCfDo5A/видео.html
Should have had the vs gts that was a much nicer Holden than any of these cars the vx vt ve by all ugly and pieces of shit
Only a lil 5 litre..flogging the lsa and ls1
You could get a 2 litre to pass them all.
@@larjkok1184 haha...maybe with a turbo yeah...but the 5 litres are naturally aspirated and limited to 650 hp, they can go faster but are limited by there own rules...was great to see it flog the big 6.2 lsa with a blower on it but
If anyone says the GTS looks like a mazda I will set whatever car-envy inspiring piece of crap they drive on fire.
I see 3x dinosaurs masquerading as bricks
Lol rocket ship my arse
The vf gts will surely keep up with the v8 supercar
***** And racing slicks.. lol
+Almansa403s And stiffened chassis, stiffer suspension, lower ride height, more race appropriate gear ratios.
Imagine trying to drive a v8 supercar around town.. that would be cool lol
+rocktheroc ahahahahaha
Some of Holdens so called wins were absolute bullshit, like when Peter Perfect used TWO commodores to win....
You are a fukin typical little boy who needs to get back to your Xbox. You know fuck all and are speaking shit.
My VS stato woulda taken about 6 minutes doing this...
My xr6t would smoke all these shit boxes with nothing more than a tune!
No suprise really. Be good if the VX was a super car instead
The VX looks better doing though
P.S the only Holdens built in Australia are The Commodore & some of the Cruze's the rest are fully imported. Fact....
i hate all things with 4 wheels and a motor
convince me i'm wrong i dare you
Still have not watched that crap since Toranas raced. Never will
Did the hemi win ?
Murph just cruising down te straight lol what a joke
bogans gather here.
especially GM rubish.
Imagine 2 xc coupes overtook them all down conrod lol
V8 supercars are rocketships ( r32 gtr ) oops! Shhhh
Them were the days 😞
Why is this series still competing? Its so irrelevant.
Speed comparison of Aussie shitboxes
these cars in stardard form are no match against a stardard evo 7 8 9 and 10 on any track just imagine if you enhance the evos to the holden super car specs unbeatable watch the production touring car races evos have to cut there power down still win
why not just race a Ferrari against ya shitty Evo, or an F1 car against your shitty Evo... notice how dumb this conversation is getting. You started it though. It's 5.0 RWD series ya dipshit, not a 4wd yaw control nerd convention. Why not race a helicopter against ya shitty evo...
You have proof Smurf...No Holden or Ford in the top ten in the production car races...ALSO have you noticed...when all the supertaxi drivers have a choice of wich car to compete with???? ...NO Holdens or Fords.
It would of been great to have either of the 2002/2006 #427 "Yellow" or #05 "Red" Holden Monaro 427C from the Bathurst 24 Hour in this Shoot Out!..
mighty c4b so ahead of its time
HOLDEN HANDS DOWN BETTER THAN FORD CRAP
