Great video explaining the main differences between an M and R series. I would have thought that the 130M would have come with the starfire system factory fitted and not the retrofit steering system installed as it was a new tractor?
Interesting first impression, as we're looking at 6130M as alternative to 6155R for the same reasons Noel Cahill mentioned below. Did you ever get the fert spreader sorted out?
6130 is great. Definitely not as comfortable for long days work, or as user friendly if you are using a lot of isobus implements like we are. But for day to day work it’s top notch!
Great video Josh. Hope the 6155r comes back to you soon. The 6130r looks like a good replacement. We’ve just bought a combine with green star gps on, do you know can we swap the gps onto our case puma?👍
Thanks a lot! You will be able to use it on your puma but will need to get some software bits and pieces done I expect to allow the tractor and guidance to talk to each other 👍 Not sure where you are from but Dan at Mason Kings would be the man I would speak to!

@@JMFarming fair enough, still a nice tractor though and as you say can do everything your 6R can other then 50k. Best not let them know you like the 6M to much otherwise they might replace your 6155 with another 6M when its due for replacement 😂
@@JMFarming yes i am sure you will still have many more years with her yet. Think if I would be tempted to have another telehandler rather then two loader tractors just i find you can get more done, i know with a loader tractor you have a duel vehicle like Tom Pemberton has pointed out with the 885.

It can do, this one was new old stock so anything we wanted had to be put on as extra. Made it very slightly cheaper!

Great video to watch whilst I am having my lunch, the m series are good little tractors nice and basic its a change from our 6250r
It’s perfect for what we need. Has the auto steer for precision work and is nice and nimble!

If its anything like the 6430 then it should be a fantastic tractor although the 6120m with a loader is an amazing bit of kit.
It’s got a great turning circle and decent power for its size! Will do good for us!
Good tractors the 6M series, but the latest ones are even better. We had a new 6120M on demo last year and it put our new 5100R to shame.
Ahh nice one! We had a 6140M on demo before buying this. This one was actually new old stock so not quite up there with the new ones!

6m is far better tractor for the money the r series is stupidy money and 2 much to go wrong
Can’t complain about the M series at all. Ours is pretty much and R series though apart from 50k

Nice video Josh. Good comparison of the 6130m and the 6155r. Did you discuss the disc speed on the spreader with the Alex?

6130M small compared to 6130R. 6130M also has a gus as standard. Have you had any rain yet ?
Yep comes with a Gus as standard! That’s what bumps the price up!

Good question, but the 130m replaced a old JD 6210.
Some of it was price. This is basically and R series as it has all the extras an R does apart from 50K. It replaced a old 6210, and a MF4255.
