I reached master level in 6 months here in Florida
I’m also a Florida master electrician and air conditioner technician
Working in tight places...she got that part right
Physically demanding my ass, hardest part of the job is laying out a delivery of pipe.
True, I use always the pipe barrows when we have pipe delivery.
Then your jobs obviously aren't making money. I'm balls to the wall all day.
I was told ill need to carry up to 100 lbs up a ladder that's the only possible part thats hard labor
This job is 100% physically demanding lol don’t mislead ppl
Nah bro delivery is light work compared to putting up pipe always glad when a truck load of pipe comes know it's gonna be an easy hour or so. Definitely a job you need to have balls for
Trying to get back into the local 699.
Are you licensed Pipefitters ?
All depends on what state you work in. PA you don't have to be licensed but when I go on the road to WV or OH you have to be licensed in that state. LU 542 Pittsburgh
Boy, I wished that people knew how to use the words,"Your" and "You're" correctly in a sentence.
Wouldn’t be doing this if we did
none
How do you become a sprinkler fitter?
You wait until all else fails.
Then you show up at your local fire sprinkler company and bend over.
Yep, it's as easy as that!
Is that all you do is talk shit about this trade? Grow up my man. Get a new career if that's all you can do is down this one. You chose your path. Your one of the few people that hate this career choice. Especially because your a scab. Hope you enjoy you baby retirement checks after you busted your ass for however many years a scab fitter. I'll retire in my mid 50s and make more retired than you did working. In the mean time do us all a favor and stop running your mouth about this trade. Get a new career. Go work in the plumbing dept at Home Depot or lowes and tell them idiot customers who have no clue what the hell there doing how to play with pipe.
fitter542 you obviously haven't been doing it very long, or you are just slow. Don't worry you will figure out one day. Also you must have a pension better than congresses if it's going to pay out more than my entire( overtime filled) career.
I think you might be exaggerating just a little, you union guys have a tendency to do that, but if not congratulations!
Key words there are "overtime filled". That's what you have to do I order live comfortably. Work 60 hours a week just to make as much as my 40 hour week. I can work as much overtime as I want but only take it when it's worth it. My straight time guaranteed is just as much as your time and half. That's a guarantee. But hey your obviously a old bitter fitter lol. I have a UA pension. I'll tell you the same thing I tell all my customers after scans install there system, let the scabs install it cause there cheaper and let the union guys come in and fix it. Enough said. Hang up the wrenches and turn your keys in scab.
fitter542 buddy you are talking out of that dark remote place where your head resides.sprinkler work has been more than fair to me as far as salary, benefits, matched 401k, company truck with gas card for the last 27 years, paid healthcare,3weeks paid vacation, 6 paid holidays,If you are coming out ahead on me it's not by much bud,and it's not worth all the B.S. that comes with your union and your dues. My point is actual sprinkler work sucks. But your right in one respect we make our own beds to lay in.
Okay, okay... I gotta go now I got pipe to hang, you just keep on keeping that bench warm son.
Keep the bench warm. I got 16 years in the trade with the same company since DAY 1. Been on a service van since the week after I been out of my apprenticeship. Ran work on permit as a 4th and 5th year apprentice. NEVER been laid off. 16 years 16 pension credits and I'm only 37. Like I've said already. You'll never make as much as me you have to work 2500+ hours a year to make what I make in 2000. Both of my pensions are better than yours. No wonder why your just an old bitter fitter who hates his job. I'd hate my job to if I only made $24/hr to do what we do. I made that as a 3rd year apprentice haha. Have fun hanging your pipe buddy I'll be over here fixing you scabs garbage. Keep up the good work. Your keeping our service vans running round the clock ha.
Why do you have a level, on your spotter level?! Non union rat
Level on your spotter level???? Bro when this video was made spotter levels didn’t exist lol. And all the guys in this video are Union. Look what his shirt says.
