Hawk has been my favourite since day 1, when he became a bully it just made his story more intriguing, and then when he switched sides back to the good guys at the end of season 3 it was amazing seeing his character come full circle

Demetri tries to get through to him saying this isn't who he's supposed to be. Hawk replies "This is who I wanted to be. My whole life I've been pushed around, bullied laughed at. Never again. I really dont wanna hurt you Demetri, but you leave me no choice". Hawk tries to attack but Demetri pins him down saying he's not giving up on him. Shows how strong Demetri is not giving up on his BFF

I think the only thing I would have changed with hawk was his friendship with Dimitri. I felt the season finale where he finally defended Dimitri in that fight. Glad they are tekindling their friendship, but this felt rushed. Yes, there were flashbacks and gradual friendly interactions, but it did not make sense after he kept beating his best friend near to a pulp and like you said, broke his arm. That’s traumatic. It is very difficult to redeem that mistake. It is nearly impossible to become friends after they physically and verbally hurt you. Even as Eli, he was a huge jerk to Dimitri. If their friendship was better executed with scenes that show them having fun together for more than three seconds, I may be more behind his redemption arc. I like how he is earning his place with his friends and the two teams. The merger allows him to embrace all three styles of karate and become a great fighter, but become a better person too. Great video.
@Raymond Sims I guess they never thought one of the side stories was going to be so engaging to so many people. He, like Aysha, like Moon, has no place in the central plot but his character is so intense I was cheering for him and Moon, while I can't give a dawn about the Booby/Sam/Miguel triangle
Make sure to watch the Karate Kid movies first, as Cobra Kai is a spin-off. They say you can watch the show without ever having watched the movies, but i don't understand why you would want to watch a spin-off show while not even being familiar with the main franchise. If you read a book, you don't start somewhere in the middle either.
