    Hey Riq, for a beginner to jump training. I do max approach jumps on monday, when is it good to do a leg workout such as squats and power cleans that week?

    Great vid as per usual. 🙏 Since u jump so high, I would like to ask u sum questions. What’s your opinion on French contrast or complex/contrast training in general? Also how do you train upper body? How long should a workout take and do I want to feel sore the following days to know I did good? Sorry for the flurry of questions 😅. Am trying to and so close to reaching a 38 inch vertical. Once again love your videos ❤. Can’t wait to see you dunk!!

      French contrast and contrast training helped me a bit earlier on but I think it was also one of the main causes of my knee pain before. I might've done them too much but the increase wasn't significant and wasn't worth the knee pain.

    Hey Riq, I have a somewhat unrelated question but got nowhere else to ask. When doing plyometric jumps, such as exploding up from a depth drop, should I use an arm swing or rely entirely on leg power? Does it matter?

      Great question. No arm swing is gonna allow of more ground contact time so i'd rather use arm swing so that I'm getting off the ground as high and as fast as possible

    Hey Riq im 14 5,5 and I believe I injured my knees in may of this year because I was increasing height of obect i was jumping on to quickly and wasnt taking days off for my body to rest and I took a break and restarted my workout but im scared because when i jump the wrong way I hurt my knees the pain still persists

    Great vid man, quick question is it okay to completely replace leg day with plyos considering that i do an upper body lower body split (upper body mon wed fri and lower body tues thurs)?

      its better to sprinkle some max jumps in with plyo exercises instead of doing one or the other

      the best and most simple way is to track your calories and train hard. You can still lose weight and eat like shit tho so also cut out fast food. so that you lose weight and also feel good
