Actually loid is not the protagonist, the protagonist in general would be the whole cast, it's just that each season is about one a little above the others, for example the beginning was a kai season, when it is discovered that loid is the green ninja all the battle father and son and overlord are his season, Although in season 3 it would seem that Loid was also the protagonist, the whole season revolved more on Zane, season 4 was everyone's since they were developing each one, It was zane because it was lost, it was kai because of its relationship with uhh I forgot his name sorry, and the others both cole and jay resolving their differences as loid with his father, in fact I consider the season of the elementary tournament a season of garmadon, The season of the ghosts was about Moor since he was a disciple of wu, he tried to loid for being the possessed but he looked more kai because he was worried, season 6 was jay, season 7 was kai and nia, etc etc there is no single protagonist, varies in each season sometimes they are more than 1, Everyone, or someone who isn't even a ninja like Hunted would be in Garmadon and Wu's season.

I still remember when they fought skeletons and when they all got their dragons
And then they immediately get nerfed after a few episodes when the dragons leave.
I've been watching so long I know there's like 3 different ways to get a dragon and I understand the cycle of nerfing and gaining power that they go through every season.
And they got their golden weapons, and that we thought Kai is the MC, good times

I always felt bad for lloyd during his time trying to be a villain during season 1. Especially when he got kicked out of the hypnobri and looked at the ninja and wu discovering the destinys bounty with what looked like a yearning for companionship.

Bro, I watched all of ninjago starting from the pilot all the way to season 15 from childhood going into adulthood and it was one of the greatest stories hands down. Shit had me in laughing, crying, and smiling a lot.

The First Tornado of creation making the Fairs-wheel to cage the skeletons. Meeting Lloyd and the serpentine, The stone Warriors arc, Golden ninja Finale, Technoblades, after that I just drifted away.
