- My name is Arslan and I’ve been living in vehicles for the past few years. My journey of alternative living began after I was fed up with the high cost of rent in the United States. I fell in love with the idea of living on the road, so over the years, I converted a sprinter van, a Camaro and most recently been living in my 2014 chevy suburban camper car. I enjoy making RUclips videos and recording my different experiences to share with you guys.
In This video: we start a new journey of traveling to French Canada and attempting to live there in a car while experiencing the French culture
RUclips Posting Schedule: Saturdays 9am EST
I love reading your comments and wish I could reply to all of you but my schedule doesn't allow. But I always reply to SUPER CHATS because they pop up on my phone!
P.S. If I need to tell you guys something, I will comment and pin it on my latest video.
All of my long form videos can be found in this playlist: • How I Live In My Car W...

ARSLAN...!!! Where have you been? Sometimes I was nervous and needed to pray for you... I could not sleep and I asked God to protect and help you. I am sooo glad to see you healthy and fit, full of energy and vested with your adventurous spirit. God bless you richly!!
Agreed. 1 month hiatus with no communication is a long time.
He was planning a trip. He said it last video in the comments i believe. He wanted to travel in different countries. Probably needed to work to save up money.
I’m glad he’s ok I was getting a little worried too ❤
So glad he’s Oky. we were all worried!
@@totorishopPeople have lives. They aren’t obligated to tell a bunch of strangers on the internet what they’re doing every day.
Dude, that screaming like a little girl made me spit my coffee all over my computer screen and desk. I don't think I have laghed that hard in a very long time. Great video, brother :)
lol its was funny seeing him scream like that
No worries, you are so brave to go there, to spread your channel info, and to zip line at all!!! ❤😂
That was hilarious. What? Oh nothing hahahah😂
When Arslan makes you wait for over a month until the next video but then makes it a whole hour long 🥰
😂😂😂
Well worth the wait. I was Just talking about you and how you disappeared. Was hoping you were ok. Glad to see you are
yes indeed, I was beginning to worry about him, what had happened to him.
I thought he died for went into nursing 😂
I mean or
If you are in Ontario now, please-you are welcome to park on our property by the lake!! If I knew you were coming, I would have offered a long time ago! lol xo
you are so sweet!!
Yes, we are going to talk about the screaming. That was the icing on the cake! This video has it all. It started with rent a cops, the cute couple, & now the screaming. I don’t know where that screaming voice came from but I’ve watched it 3 times. You need to make a RUclips short of just the scream. Thanks for a great video!❤❤❤
lol !!!!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That was just a regular parking garage security who had no right to take his licence info lol
That scream was so gay
I laughed so hard 😂😂😂😂
when you scremed..that made my day, laughed so much. Thanks for that
Those in red uniform aren't the army, they are with the RCMP, its the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
The guy explaining the red uniform was 110% sure he was right and was so proud to tell a tourist lol
When you said, “This is my town now,” I smiled. I love how you envelop yourself wherever you go and become part of the people, culture, and enjoy every moment.
I’ve decided that from now on when I travel and I’m happy - that’s what I’m going to say!
“This is my town now.”
Vasudaiva Kutumbakam,"The World is one Family"🙏🏾😇🧿🌠
Wait, what? No explanation as to why you were away for a month? You’re like a boyfriend who just stopped calling. But kidding aside, you got me/us worried. It’s great to see you back!
LOL, I'm back! I was planning my new RUclips direction then I had covid for a week then a severe poison ivy reaction for 2 weeks
You need to have 'sub series' under "Solar Camper Car" ~ 'Arslan in Asia', 'Arslan in Germany', 'Arslan in Montreal', etc. Also, this would help you write a book about your experiences. Your chapters will already have a name. The book could be "Traveling Solo with Arslan". 😘
Thats a great idea. Then in the United States he can do each state and what his favorite part was. Id be interested in what he liked about Ohio. Lived here my whole life and longed to live on the coast some where. I love the ocean. Cant figure out why my family chose a land locked state. 😪😁
Book is also a great idea
30:33 I NEVER EVER HEARD ARSLAN SCREAM LIKE THAT LOL 🤣🤣🤣
😂
@@Kimbers58 I got stuck at the top of a Ferris wheel for thirty minutes in June. I was a 12-year-old girl.l I didn't scream. 😂
@@chancecarer5234 🤣 I woulda been cryin 🤣
Hilarious!😅😅😅😅
I watched it several times 😂😂😂😂 it was so cute ❤❤❤😂😂
Great you are back Arslan! Today found out you were born in Jordan. Always wondered about your name ... 'absolute fearless, brave, lion hunter, gladiator ... !
Have a great trip in Canada and looking forward for more exciting videos!
The name fits perfectly for him!!! ☺️
I missed you broo. I was always waiting for your uploads every saturday.
missed you guys too ❤
They seemed like a very nice couple. It was very interesting to listen to you speaking with them and to learn a bit more about you. Your new take on your channel sounds so exciting!!!! Pls be careful and I’ll pray that God protects you.
hey! I'm glad you're digging the new content ❤
I don't know if you knew this or not but your planet fitness membership/anytime fitness will work in Canada. It worked for me when I was there. Have a great trip.
@@rickverble2607 How close are they to Montreal?
I’ve never seen a Planet a fitness here in Quebec. We have two low cost chain gyms, Buzzfit and Econofitness.
I missed you glad to see you back!!!
What a great idea for a series!! 🎉🎉🎉♥️♥️♥️✌️🇨🇦
awesome! good to hear ❤
Welcome back Arslan, I am so happy that you didn't stop doing vlogs. I'm looking forward to new videos. Stay safe. Promise to try not to keep us waiting so long again. ❤❤
Thanks for the warm welcomes! ❤ I'm still figuring out the video schedule around the international travel since we're going overseas
my guy was like 3 hrs from canada in his last video in Kingston NY but instead of driving up with his existing build he FLIES in to truly do this from scratch, love it!
Would be better to see him do it in his camper no?
Car probably dead again lol
@@dre145 lmao true
Hi, that gorgeous, multilingual couple is a sign that your choice to expand your travels for your channel will be an amazing journey. 🎉 Detroiters love Canada as we are just across the river (strait) to Windsor. 😊 🇨🇦
OMG A HOUR LONG VID!!!!
Hahaha
Arslan flying through the air on a zip line made my day! 😂😂♥♥
Hey Arslan! I live in Quebec and im happy you love our city!I hope you have a good time there!!
Glad you are back. I looked for you every Saturday. Stay safe out there.
The guy who rented out the car watching this video, “Did he say jug to pee in”?
And a propane stove to cook on.

Soooo nice to see you traveling out & about exploring.
Instead of being in a vehicle! God bless🙏🏼♥️🙏🏼✨🌟😊
awww I appreciate you liking the new video content ❤
The screaming was awesome! It looks like a lot of fun.
The screaming… oh wait…we’re not talking about that 😭🤣🤣
I was like………OOOooooh were mos def talking about that😂😂😂

Arslan, I am going solo to Norway end of August and know little of the language and am a total introvert too. You have given me so much courage today. Thank you!
HE IS BACK!
PLEASE LETS TALK ABOUT IT WAS TOO FUNNY BUT, GLAD TO SEE YOU BACK!!!
hahaha ❤
The wait is over!! My favorite RUclipsr 🎉❤
“Honey, the solar guy is back! He just posted a new video!”🍿

Make a story line about your childhood and family background, please. I love you videos 🎉
I would love that too
Is he not from the Middle East? His accent
Does he have an accent? I don't hear that, but I am not a native speaker.@@jalyassin

Your vanlife lifestyle and your channel have brought you this far, treat yourself to a nice hotel and relax, we don't mind if it doesn't quite fit the topic.. You have simply grown into a personality and we are happy to accompany you on all adventures
Glad you are enjoying Montreal. The RCMP stands for Royal Canadian Mounted Police (Mounties). They are not army; they are the Federal police force in Canada. That zip line adventure was fun to watch, especially the screaming. I am afraid of heights also and I would never attempt a zip line. You are very brave to do so. You know how to have a good time. Your videos are so enjoyable. Love from a Canadian.
Hello from California...I've checked your video every Saturday...welcome back...
awww, thanks Kevin ❤
I'm a Canadian, and you don't have to show a security guard your ID. He has no business asking where you are coming from. Security guards in Canada have ZERO power. They can't even arrest you.
@@edgestrikecyber Yes, I agree 100. But if he hadn’t given his ID, the guard would have called police to come out and it would have been a waste of resources. You comply and give your ID because it’s a more orderly society and we have less crime when the people with good intentions cooperate so that those who don’t cooperate, will stand out as likely to be doing something wrong and deserving of further investigation. The problem comes in when bad cops or security guards start to abuse this unspoken agreement with society and use their badge to bully people. I know firsthand.
Bro looked like he was stealing the car.
hey! i hear you but I just wanted him off my back as quickly as possible instead of making it a bigger deal
@@solarcampercar of course. That's called "maturity". (Use to be more common). 🤣🤣🤣✌️🇨🇦
it might seem a silly question, but why didn't you drive to Canada in your own camper car?
I salute your sensitivity to the French language and culture of Quebec. Bravo Arslan! I will definitely remain a subscriber and an avid watcher of your vidéos. ❤
you have steady hands. your videos don’t shake much unlike other youtubers’ videos. Love it! Love watching you. I watch all of your ads to make sure you get all the money so that you can do more trips.
Man that face of realisation when it's Canada day😂
I love your old black car so much we enjoy watching you in that black car.
yess new video! happy to see you doing well
Has been so long since you've posted, I was getting worried about you. Glad to see you back!
Love the new content. This is exactly what you needed to do to boost your channel. Well done
😂rolling laughing “the screaming we’re not gonna talk about it” lol 😂
Good to see you again. Sleeping in that car looked a little rough compared to your other vehicle. People are so nice there, and thin! It's cool to see IGA, we had one in N.Y. once upon a time.
Arslan, I moved to Canada from NY a few years ago. About an hour from Montreal. North Hatley. Let me know if you need a place to stay and would like to see this part as well. You wouldn't pay for food as well. Lots of beautiful lakes around here. English and French towns.
How can you move to Canada as an American?
I love this so much Arslan I live vicariously through you because I’m a scaredy-cat, but you make me so happy with your adventures. I have to stop now and go to church but I can’t wait to get back and see how this ends. God bless you.
You are too cute you could be in a horror movie with that scream 😂 missed you glad you are back❤❤
Ohhh thank you thank you for coming back I thought you stop making videos. Now I can enjoy your videos 😁
Where’s the black SUV?
It's truly amazing being able to experience life the way you’re doing it Arslan ! Wow , man your inspiring brother. Best of luck in Canada ✌🏽
I really love your lifestyle!!
After 4-5 years thinking about camperlife I took the I finally made the decision to buy my first Van, I'm sorry it's not an SUV like yours, but I couldn't change my Piano in the SUV😂
To be honest, what has helped me the most about you is that you have achieved it in a "simple" way, without large camper projects with thousands of $ (for me €).
Thank you for helping me with the push I needed!!
💛💛💛
Zip Line!!!!!!
You need "hosts" in the towns you visit. Grab a local, have them show you around. Takes a lot of the guesswork out of it! Love the new direction/diversion!
Great video. You'll get fans from everywhere now. I enjoyed the hour-long video. Keep it up !! Can't ignore the screaming lol but it was genuine and cool, and yes it was watched multiple times.
A Dudley Do-Right!!!! If you don’t know who Dudley is, you’ll have to google ‘The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle’ cartoon. How cool-a Mountie!!! And the screams we aren’t t talking about-- make me like you that much more. So brave!!
One of the best videos ever, that shirt did it, I don’t know why you don’t have a travel channel show. But that would change everything, and this is better
Loved this adventure! Genius idea with the stickers. Thoroughly enjoyed watching you take on the unfamiliar and fears. I felt like I became inspired to face my fears. I enjoyed seeing people’s interactions with you as well, and they didn’t mind the go pro camera. I find it interesting only 5% can read in French? I wish we had multiple languages here in US from the start. Language development starts 0-5/7 years and then it’s about relearning a whole new language on top of the native one. It should be an official trilingual country really, English, Spanish, French. Even the options to learn the languages aren’t available everywhere in the public schools, it’s really sad. I’m loving the newest adventure, and your confidence was adorable especially you wearing the jersey on and proudly assimilated into your new city. Love this.
ARSIAN, GLAD YOU SEE YOU BACK… ALL THOUGH THE ZIP-LINE SCREAMS MADE MY EARS BLEED 😂😂 UNTIL NEXT TIME 👍🏼🤍🩵
. . . you are so fun to watch . . . you're such a kind, respectful guy....I am going to look for you more often . . . God Bless You So Much for sharing your adventures with us... 🥰
Glad to see you back! Instead of pouring out the water, you could have used some with the paper towels to take a “sponge bath”. Also, the head rests in the back should lift off and can be used for a pillow. Always ask the locals if they can recommend any stores for gear. If you can’t find an affordable sleeping pad, check the clearance section for a lounge chair pad to sleep on. Happy car camping! ❤
The scream was hysterical 😂😂😂. You are braver than me I never could have done the zip line. The shirt looks great on you.
Saying ''Bonjour'' before continuing in english is the way to go. It shows that you have some respect for the culture and the language. We really appreciate the effort.
Welcome back on grid. And to Canada. If you end up in Vancouver hope you will let me be a tour guide
For the record…i will never fight a spider
Ok. You made it to the near the top of the tower. Someone said they thought the scream was funny. Guessing im getting close
Ok. That was epic
I was worried that you are not uploading video recently. I am glad to see you again. Stay safe always!❤
Love this channel and such kindness radiates from you!!
What a BEAUTIFUL PLEASURE to meet them TOO! May you be BLESSED to meet many more wonderful people on your ADVENTURES!
This is a great direction for your channel if you can make it work for your lifestyle. Love watching travelers! I hope you love it and your channel takes off!!
You are so brave! I love your travels because I don't travel much. I'm an introvert as well. But, I've pushed myself to so some things i never thought i could. I'm happy i did. 🥰🥰🥰
I bought a Kia Telluride so I can car camp. Good choice on the Kia. All the seats fold flat. I am excited for your next adventure!
Now you are in my neck of the woods! Welcome to Canada! 🇨🇦
Just watched the entire vid!
Man, I think you are one of the most genuine, chill, good natured dudes I follow on RUclips.
Time and again in this video alone you are friendly and kind to those around you. A few examples: not being bothered by the kids on the grass and deciding to move yourself instead of getting mad or at least complaining at them like others might. Chatting and connecting with that nice couple, offering to help with the stroller caught on the curb, offering to take the photo, the list goes on…
Just a more than decent human being and it’s so refreshing to watch. I respect that and will support your videos as best I can.
Love your videos man keep up the great work.
You made me laugh…. But we won’t talk about it! 😂😂😂
Wooow this is a whole new challenge Arslan! It's going to be different and more difficult but you got this bro! We've missed you!
The SCREAM 😂! I had to rewatch it a few times, it was so fun to watch!
You're so darned fun & real & hilarious 😂🎉 I liked, "I feel like this shirt makes me look buff!" And the screaming on the zipline. "Let's check out this alley." And always looking for the perfect overnight urinal. "The sound of the tires on the cobblestones sounds cool." All good observations. 😊 Your video makes me want to visit Niagara Falls again soon! Take care.
OMG the scream, sorry I just had to laugh. Made my incision hurt but was well worth it
i feel like traveling with you. i love your videos, keep up the good work and take care!
Buy a backpacking pocket stove and you’ll be able to take it with you wherever you travel to instead of having to buy propane stoves and dumping them afterwards. The only thing you can’t take is the fuel canisters. Buying hiking gear will take you further because it’s compact.
Niiiice video, very informative and entertaining. Interactions ( especially multi language chat/scene with pretty couple)- are cute and welcoming.👍🏻
Yayyy!!! Im so glad he’s back!!! I enjoy his videos no matter how long they are. He’s so much fun! 🤩
Nice to see you again! What a good idea to go travelling and take us along. I can't travel myself, so I love this. Do you still have your black car in the US?
Interesting to hear about your background. If you want to share more: 👍🏻
Take care, safe travels!
Thank you for taking us to Montreal!!! That was exciting. AND, YES, Arlan, you look buff in that Canada Hockey Shirt!!! 💖 😉 🥰
Good to see you're back! Your Canadian content is gonna be amazing
Hello Arslan, from Oregon! Glad to see you back and adventuring around Canada. Be safe and thanks for sharing your life with us. Take care!
Arslan, pls update what's your plan iwith your solar camper ? where is your own camper car ? After waiting for almost a month, finally see you again. Though , this new video really good, but missed your BLACK CAMPER CAR :)
Missed you! So happy your back! 😍😍😍
Enjoyed seeing you back on the road and what an adventure!
I was worried about you too Arslan! Glad you’re okay.
The screaming was too funny haha
I didn't feel the need to comment until you started screaming. I was laughing out loud, alone on my balcony. And then you're like, "The screaming; we're not gonna talk about that okay?" Hahahahaha. You're hilarious. As an introvert, I was starting to sweat while you were walking through the crowd on the boardwalk and all I am doing is watching you on my phone screen!! Good job!
So glad to see you. You are so fun and cute AND so funny. And you speak 3 languages - wow! xox
The screaming!! LOL I love it!
The screaming was hilarious. I would be screaming too but then I wouldn’t do it. Too scared lol. Thank you for showing us the sights. Be careful and looking forward to the next one ❤❤
Hi Arslan! I'm so happy you're in Montréal! I have been following your channel since 2 weeks. I don't know if you are still around, but I live just across the Honoré-Mercier Bridge going to the South Shore of Montréal, so if you need help with something I'm here to help!!! 🙂
Been waiting for another video! This was so interesting. You were so brave doing the zip line. I could never do that. Cannot wait for your next one and hopefully you will have the items you need to be more comfortable living in a rental car.
LETS GOOO!!! welcome to Canada! Arslan, I've been a fan of yours for a while and its really inspiring. I'm hoping to pay off debt quickly and life this lifestyle. if you ever make it over to Alberta come say hi! PS (northern Ontario is beautiful along the number 1 highway. safe travels big guy -Sebastian
Hey Arslan! So happy that you’re visiting our beautiful country 🇨🇦 I appreciate the fact that you are always trying to speak a bit of French in your interactions by saying Bonjour and Merci ! Hope you are having a good time. Enjoy !
