You know I always love your sim setups and everything, but you need the pedals if you're really going to set up the flight stuff. A lot of planes have used pedal controls for the tail rudder over the years so it might be more immersive. I'm not 100% because there are many newer aircraft that don't have these control setups, but just a thought.
Would be cool if the checkrides actually had you learn and perform the maneuvers. Lazy 8's, Chandelles, power off 180's, 8's on pylons, and maybe do a simulated emergency.
The rule of thumb for flaps is nice and easy. 10 degrees 3 miles out and hold 80 knots, 20 degrees 2 miles out and hold 70 knots, and 30 degrees 1 mile out and hold 65 knots.
Not sure how the sim reacts but, IRL use full flaps for landing (lowers stall speed and increases visibility), don't remove them when still on approach, only once landed. Thanks for the great videos!
Trev, just look up an autopilot tutorial for the G1000 (the name of the navigation system). The autopilot works the same on all planes with this system, and there are some great tutorials out there Once you get the hang of it, you can just set the autopilot, increase the sim speed, and lean back
as a flight instructor interviewing for my first airline gig next week it’s so awesome seeing you play this! watched you since the jumps and spots days when i was in middle school. keep it up my man!
Hey Trev, big fan! One day, it’ll be amazing to watch you check out My Summer Car. It’s an open world sandbox game that has you building a car from complete scratch, to one day being able to enter it in a rally! The game is set in Finland, and has the player tackle a whole range of jobs and activities in order to fund there rally car repair haha! Keep up the great work
Make sure you're real careful and don't crash your plane once you start a business. There's nothing worse than grinding all that time to buy a plane just to turn around and spend another 20k+ to fix it. I've done it twice 😂
ive been looking forward to seeing you getting into career. heard it was pretty buggy. i've been sticking to free flight having a lot of fun even with the issues. runs way smoother and and looks even better than 2020. 6 months and i hope its completed. i have faith in asobo. they've done it once already. 2020 was fucked out the gate, worse id say, and now it's superb. hope to see more vids trev, career missions look pretty dope but im gonna wait
The 4 lights on the side of the runway tell you if you’re too high or too low on approach. 2 reds 2 whites is ideal decent. 4 whites too high 4 reds too low.
You normaly want to have 5% flaps (stage1) and after takeoff you want to set them back to 0 Also you dont habe to follow there lines exactly its just there are reference so the first landing you could habe taking every way you wanted
Yayyy. I couldn't wait for this second episode 😂😂❤️ It's currently 11:34pm here and I've been checking YT all day (I turned off all notifications) just for Tmartn's continuation of the Msfs 2024 series! Thanks for uploading bro ✌️
Trev getting your instrument panel certification will allow you to have live weather in missions.
13:10 You took off in the wrong direction 😭😭 lol 😂

I don’t know why I get a kick out of you dressing like a pilot for these videos but I do hahahah
I've been so hooked on career mode 😭 I've just started my first business lol you earn more money but have to pay for maintenance etc.
Don’t crash! Takes 100’s of K’s to fix your Cessna.
That was the easiet commercial checkride I have ever seen. No eights on pylons and no power off 180 lol
My DPE hated ground reference maneuvers luckily, and he would give you a mulligan if you came up short on the first power off 180
They could have use more attractive instructors 😂
I love how you always posting!! Im really sick right now and your vids have been helping me. Ty
Loving this series Trev 🙌

Trev it’s not mph it’s knots lmao

Been waiting for part 2! ❤
This is crazy to see because I’m an aircraft mechanic at VNY and to see it in a sim is cool!!!
You do want to skip you lose like 50 credits if you’re just going for them, it’s faster to skip to get them

@@ItaAndyOfficial If you didn't know that already then you have no clue how to use it.
This game is a masterpiece. Idgaf about the haters, this game is truly incredible. Been playing it nonstop and having a blast.
thank you for the sim rate tip. 100+ NM in Cessna weren't fun at all.
Since watching your videos I have seriously wanted a flight stick and pedals.

Hey Trev on the instrument panels on the skyhawk is the autopilot controls. Theres some really helpful youtube tutorials on how to use ut

Trev, normally a C172 requires 10 degrees of flaps for takeoff.
Trev you are the only youtuber I know that goes the extra mile to look the part for these simulators 😂
Finally the wait is over ❤
Plz keep this series goong❤
It's nice seeing my comfort youtuber playing a flight sim
