Still looking good. Your moving along at quite a pace. Can't wait for the finish you put on it....... Last year's was great. I'm sure this year's will be even better. Then comes the sound. I'll look forward to seeing (and hearing) it rock. Be well my friend. Be safe and be blessed.

Sweet build man, the fretboard looks stunning. The angle grinder and sanding discs are great for roughing out necks as well as the body contours, I've been doing mine for years using this method. Keep up the great work mate 👍

Yeah, the roundover is one of those massive waypoints where it suddenly feels so much like a guitar.

Absolutely! The belly carve took it to another level too. Really need to learn about carving the front too

You learn much more from your mistakes than you ever do from your successes! I like your honesty, its refreshing to hear.

Realiy like the belly carve, very curvy. Also, that fretboard and inlay is stunning. Very well done.

you can get them out again by driving a screw of the same thread down till it hits the wood at the bottom and it will start pulling them out. What's important is that you line up the grooves again when putting them back in.

Coming together John, the fretwork and fretboard look amazing! Is it OK to use the restorative oil on a maple fretboard? I have always fancied making a maple fretboard but have been put off as I thought they needed to be sprayed. Thanks for the videos, keep them coming

Thanks. I think the only issue is maple gets dirty quickly so not ideal for an oiled surface.

a flap wheel on the angle grinder also works wonders.

I'm getting scolded by my teacher because I am not taking the time to fixe my mistakes. As frustrating as it is forge on. Incorporate mistakes into the design. Thats what I have had to do.

Thanks. Yep it can be frustrating but worth it in the end. Plus you learn more from your mistakes

Its better just to hear your work without the music🙃

Sorry. It felt too long silence for me so I added some music.
