    Thanks very much for this summary. I bought this book about a year ago and to be honest I found it hard to read. I don’t like the way it’s written with the teacher/student dialogue format. The Audible version is even more confusing as there is only one voice! This is a nice succinct précis that is easy to understand. Thanks.

      bestbookbits #1 we live our lives based on our past experiences and we must strive to break those shackles
      #2 we live lives based on how we have been taught but its very important to understand our purpose or calling
      #3 we whine about our imperfections or problems rather than actually trying to make the situation better just bcoz that behaviour is familiar

    Kind of confused with the one about not letting other's interfere with your life. I was unemployed for close to two years. I stopped applying to jobs and I was a miserable person, then I was thrown into a job by my father, and that was the best thing that ever happened to me. It got me out of my house, socializing and away from video games and other addictions which I was fighting for too long.

    It's not just the accent, some words were clearly mispronounced. sorry but it's too distracting. eg: Aloof is pronounced al oo f. not al o f. There are too many to practically list.

    • @auto-did-act
      @auto-did-act 3 года назад +1

      Another example "hasty" is pronounced Hay stee. not hah stee. This is not an accent thing. The person who wrote the text is not the person who read the text out loud.
