I really liked this John, a very free and easy wash. The only thing I wasn’t sure of was the sky meets hill/field, the stone wall looked a bit as if it was floating! Having said that it’s great to have found you, I have subscribed, looking forward to many more! Thanks Jane
This looks pretty loose and free to my eye. Are you familiar with Teoh Yi Chie? Paint wash all over the place! 🤗 As I am self studied, it’s a delight to find your wonderful videos!
I like your drawings/paintings a lot, they have the style (loose) I try to create myself (with not the same success unfortunately!). I've only just discovered your sites and am having a good poke around! Funnily the first line/wash I did, which I thought was OK was taken from one of yours, one I found on Google images. Just for my own practice!!!
No Anne-although I admire Ian’s work greatly, the person I have in mind( among many others) is Neil Whitehead ( ennkaydraw on Instagram),& Brian Ramsey 😎
Love these paintings of the Yorkshire Dales
Thank you Linda you’re very kind. All the very best - John
Wonderful snowy scene in the Dales🙂
Your voice over for me is extremely educational and on point. Thank you.

I always say, why procrastinate over what colour to paint something, when its just as easy to be indecisive instead. Love your art by the way.
Gorgeous. You make it look so simple, but it definitely isn’t. Hope you’re much improved now health wise.
Thank you- for your kind compliments and also concern.
I’m absolutely fine now.😎
