If anyone is interested in that first game, I picked it up digitally from the Switch store for $7.50 AUD so it's pretty cheap in there right now - can't confirm if the games in the store are the same across regions, but yeah it's a dirt cheap game digitally.

Congrats on getting ready to collect. This super Mario movie and the new ones to come are just going to make games. Especially those games more expensive. Try to go to flea markets and garage or yard sales best bet..goodwill maybe sometimes

Mega Man 2 and X were excellent games originally. My retro PS4 digital collections include: Castlevania, Comtrra, TMNT Genesis, Neo Geo and Capcom games. When will a NES Ninja Gaiden collection come out?

That intro music you have man... I've been watching your channel for a loooong time now, and everytime I hear that intro, it gives me the good old "Classic Game Room" vibe... kinda like comfort food for the ears.
KOF99 is my favorite in the series. It was the first one I played, but even after playing all the rest I still come back to 99. I remember reading that alot of people didn't like 99 but..Myah.

I picked up that Martian Panic bundle last week for $9.99. It was a fun little shooter on the Wii but i mostly wanted that blaster. They sell it separately for way more than that.

I totally get why you'd want to use them, but the gloves feel a bit weird. A step too far would be an exaggeration but you're like one big toe past the line of trying to keep stuff immaculate. We all have our own idiosyncrasies though. I use box protectors for everything which plenty of people think is weird. Still neat to see what you've picked up either way.
I wasn’t using the gloves to protect the game. I was using them because I couldn’t find my nail clipper and my nails were too long. I hate seeing hands with king fingernails “. That’s all. It’s more weird that that’s what you commented on for the whole video. 😅
@@The_RadicalOne You think so? It's definitely a criticism in the form of an observation but not tryin' to tear you down or anything. I thought I'd seen you do that before which is why, seeing it again, it stuck out. Seems like you had a different reason for it than I thought, but either way is totally valid. You do you, etc. Make no mistake I enjoy the videos and the pickups in particular. I definitely enjoy the variety of games you end up getting. I really only collect RPGs, horror, and visual novels. So I miss out on a lot of other genres. Shooters, platformers, etc. Cool to see what's out there. Hope you keep em' coming.

I was only paying half-attention until somebody said Sega CD.
Mega Man 3 is my favorite of the NES games. MM4 is also a close second. I might have liked 4 more, but the jazzy MM3 tunes are stellar. Great memories renting these games when they were released. I definitely need to go back through 5 and 6 again. I still have the complete box of 6, but I sadly sold the cartridge forever ago after buying the PS2 compilation.
Dungeon Explorer was one of m favorite TurboGrafx 16 games. I had no clue that it was also on Sega CD.

Glad you said it, I just thought sfv spent more time loading than playing. I still prefer sf2 and sf3 style, I haven't really got into the since.

Just got Dreadout 2 an Indonesian survival horror game. We don't get many of those even in South East Asia.
Megaman 5 is so awesome! My all-time favorite has been too, but I was floored when I first played 5 & then 6 afterward. I feel those are my favorites out of the nes series.
6 is the only game in the series I played the least. I need to play it again pretty soon

I have the digital version of SF5 and it’s pretty good but nowhere near as good as 4!!!!
Thanks for the video Reggie, I know you're not going to call it out, but man, I wish we didn't have to put up with these predatory limited print companies to get physical games. Hopefully we get a more ethical publisher step up soon who can publish some of these digital only titles AND do re-prints when there's enough demand
I like how the characters and enemies are kinda big and chunky on arietta. A lot of modern 2d games have tiny characters and it bothers me.

You can turn off the in game adverts in the options for SFV. That was a big big turn off for me too until I fixed it. This game in the version you’re playing now is allllll about V trigger. Learn that system and he game completely opens up. cheers

I picked up Eiyuden Chronicles Rising for the switch after watching this video. I thought it was a different genre of game but being an side scrolling action RPG is my kind of game.
The best street fighter games are even numbers. 2,4, and now 6.....
I bought eiyuden chronicles rising digitally on ps4 and 100% it, but i might pick up a switch physical copy anyway.

Arietta looks good. I bought Megaman 5 from Funcoland a long time ago. I picked 5 over the others because it was the cheapest at the time. I always have fun with the megaman games. Eiyuden Chronicle looks good. Metaloid Origin looks good.
I heard the PS1 version is the worst version. I have KOF 99 for the dream cast. It's a good port. But it's missing the original case. I don't know if I can replace it because it's the american version. Too expensive to buy. Maybe I should import the japanese version

SFV may get alot of hate but I absolutely ADORE the amount of costumes the game has. I wanted to try so many character I'd normally ignore when they had cool costumes. Having the champion edition was great because ya get most of the cool costumes alongside. The game has it's issues but I had tons of fun with it playing casually :)

SF5 is a grim reminder of how low fighting games have fallen with DLC, I thought KOF15 would be better but it seems it'll be an extra 50usd at least for all the dlc characters, maybe even more without the passes. It's BS.

SFV is flawed game it can be entertaining but the focus to try to bring it to esports killed this game for me. Better use that money to buy KOF XV or Tekken 7

SFV is such a disgrace on PS4 :( there's not even a ps4 pro enhanced version. It runs on like 800p and the background stages run at 5 FPS. While on PC it's flawless 4K 60 with awesome graphics. Honestly the most disappointing version of a game I ever bought. And to think PS4 is the main console they run all SFV tournaments on .... Just sad.
