The bathroom is beautiful with the light panel, it's far from the kitchen.

*Almost* perfect! I love the layout. I think this makes the best use of space I’ve seen. I might quibble with the stairs. They are visually pleasing, but do sacrifice potential storage. I would need a handrail. And please, please round off those sharp corners on the steps.

What also could be improved on is the black coloring of the roof and siding... wouldn't that catch more heat, making the house hotter and really give the AC a run for its money?
Agreed wholeheartedly on the notion of needing to keep that space under the stairs,....but this man is young and an architect, trying to push boundaries.
Overall,...an excellent build; aesthetically pleasing; he's an architect....Fx sound.

A hiding toilet! Brilliant! Lots of storage-great shower >good to wash a dog! So many good ideas & just beautiful while useful & practical.

Fantastic tiny home. The sexy-ply makes this home look elegant and warm. The entire design is super functional, with all of the storage and proper placement of the bigger elements. But, the bathroom, oh wow, is the real knock-out. Placing the toilet into the cabinetry is genius, and saves so much space. This tiny home is definitely one of the best. Thank you so much for the tour.

I could probably do this one. It’s beautiful, simple, efficient and has ample space in the kitchen, living room and bathroom! Excellent build!
Well thought out, tastefully appointed. Great idea with the hide- away toilet. Would have liked a closer look at the backsplash behind the stove! Lovely.

Exceptional features in this one! A few ideas my husband and I may borrow when we do our next build (a permanent tiny home as opposed to the tiny home-on-wheels that we already built to be a camper. Only 96 sq ft living space)
If I were 15-20 years younger, this would be the bomb! I sorta lived in a tiny when I was 22-23; it was a mother's-in-law quarters in the back of a bigger house in the downtown area. Big shared yard (so my big Boxer was welcome) and I called the structure "La Caja" because it was a perfect cube, or box. My only complaint was there was no storage in the kitchen. If I had been any sort of crafty or clever, I'm sure there'd been a solution. Rent was totally affordable (yay 1999-2001) and all utilities were included, I even got premium cable! I miss that little place.
This is beautiful! I love the layout. The modern look, the exterior. Just everything is beautiful. Oh and I can't forget the sexy ply. Lol.

This is the second "Cam" video and once again, great Layout. I am tall so all of my kitchen appliances would be higher off the floor so my back is not strained. As an example, the fridge would be elevated and then one or two drawers created below it which would not only elevate the fridge but give me more drawer space. Oh! definitely a handrail for the stairs -- getting up in the middle of the night with no handrail and no lighting ...whoa! a serious fall waiting to happen! But that is just me!
The way those treads flex as he walks down them, that does not look safe!
Two improvements I could see for the next build.
A sliding door on that bathrom.
And a fold down stability railing for those steps.
I was going to suggest the possibility of a pocket door for the bathroom. Looks like it could go under the steps.

I think the toilet would take some getting used to, but the amount of storage he was able to get in there is impressive
Beautiful! A few things I would change. 1) The mini couch across from the big couch would be better used as a finished wooden fold-down surface area along the window to use as a work space/eating counter. 2) Why is the loft ceiling so low if there's a peak in the roof? I've seen many tiny homes with more head space. 3) The roominess of the bathroom. With space at a premium, I would rather have extra space in the living room than a separate area for the bathroom sink. I have seen this in more than one tiny home and it's a bit strange to choose the bathroom to devote extra space. I do really like that sink in the bathroom. Very modern! 4) Handrail on the stairs. Someone else mentioned this. Although the climb is not very steep, a handrail is important for safety nonetheless.

Thought about it but it was too late at the point. Had electrical in that wall and couldn't slide the door the other way

I don’t know about the stairs…if he build it for himself that’s good…if he’s running it as a ABnB,it doesn’t look sturdy enough
No handrail. If those steps are slippery, or you have socks on your feet, it's an accident waiting to happen.
@@olga138 Havent gotten to the handrail yet and I put a clear grip tape on the stairs to help with slipping
they handled 340 pounds no sweat

Nice build. I do like the light plywood. Simple clean and bright, also easy to maintain. Not to crazy about the stairs. They look nice but can the dog use them? Overall nice home. Thanks for sharing.
