Worked for me and my remote wasn’t even made exactly like yours. My home button was on the top left. Thanks bc we’ve been going crazy almost 2 wks looking for the remote to this fire stick. I didn’t know you could pair diff remotes to diff devices.
THANK YOU!! I had to pull out another TV because my larger one was powered off, no remote, and the universal remote stopped working. This got some sort of TV viewing going again. Smaller screen, but they will live!😂 Thanks again.
That didn't work for me HOWEVER, going to the settings and selecting remotes and controls then doing that little pairing mode with the home key DID work. So between the two either can work
It didn’t work for me. All that came up for me was that the remote couldn’t be detected and gave me other options to try and those didn’t work either. Before I could read all the options or even try them, network connection lost popped up then I wasn’t able to do anything.
I tried to connect an additional firestick remote to my insignia firetv. I pressed the home button down for 20 seconds, and it blinks, but the remote doesn't connect. I even tried to add a remote via settings and still no luck.
