Then he say I’m not going to talk bad about Ms. Afeni and then go in to insinuate negative. He says that Pac asked him about his mother, and we know that’s a lie, because he knew his mother in the past had a drug issue, it’s documented in his song! You mean to tell me, from age 3 to when he played in Juice, this man knew his son and made attempts to contact him unsuccessfully 🤔 Now the two people to know undoubtedly the truth are deceased and he comes up here giving stories that we all know and can read, he was never a father and that was by choice, because he moved on with another family. It wasn’t until Pac was famous that he wanted a relationship and moved mountains to get it, too late, and then later he becomes the exact vulture that he speaks about and went after the money! He found that quicker than he found his actual son when he was living! Shame

Regardless the man’s character is questionable, due to the fact he has not in my opinion done anything worth praise, except seemingly discrediting Ms Afeni as a parent, tell random stories, and count pac’s pockets! He was talking about the money Pac spent on this or that in meticulous details, but that’s what they did back then and still to this day! He’s money hungry and wants to paint a picture of a long lost father, cheated out of being father, when in fact he folded his hand in the game, not realizing he had created the perfect version of himself! I still say shame on him and I call BS on his random stories!

Also Mr Garland is still being respectful towards afeni. Notice how men try to protect the image of the mom while the mom does all she can to destroy the image of the dad. I see this all the time every day in life. As a result, people view the mom as the hero, and the dad is scum. And people end up having a bias and hatred towards men, while believing women are the fairer sex.

I see the argument for that, but fact is, he prioritized that. Is what it is. I don't think he's a villain or just a scumbag. It just looks funny no matter what, and him talking down on Afeni in any context AFTER she's dead and can no longer defend herself (to be fair, he talked about her while she was alive too, but still) is sketchy. Him getting *any* money from Tupac's estate is sketchy. He wasn't there, and being there wasn't the most important thing for him. If my dad came back and that was the case .. sheesh idk. Garland was in Pac's life up until like 4 yrs old. Sounds like Afeni was still bitter, then decided to cut off Garland from his son. Garland did say Pac confronted his mother about lying that his father was dead. She even tried to say on Pac's dead certificate that his father was deceased. Everyone knew she was on drugs. Pac was kicked out of the house for confronting Afeni about it. He was homeless for several months before someone eventually housed him (I forget who it was). By then, Pac was 17 years old. We know exactly what Afeni was doing and how she was self destructive during that period (this was after she was being searched for her ties to Mutulu, who ran from the law/government for years until he was eventually captured). So this narrative that we forgot she was on drugs is just flaky. And Billy still wasn't around but by then he had settled in New Jersey.

Billy Garland sounds like a crook to me, he's very good with his words. With all the information out there, it's crazy to me how people let guys like Billy to change narrative of the story. Pac said it in his own words that he didn't care to have a DNA test because it would not make him love Billy more or less. Billy has no story with Pac when pac got out jail but Tupac moves his mother to Cali to be close to him so it's crazy to me for Billy to claim that nobody had Pac's back like he did while Afeni raised Tupac on her own and Pac said that his mother was his best friend. And if he didn't care about the money then why sue the estate to get money from a son he didn't raise at all

Plus they're putting words in Pac's mouth. Few have said - without showing proof mind you - that Pac said publicly how his mother betrayed him when he never said that. Or that he and his father was getting close (he talked of WANTING to get close to him in the Vibe interview, not that they WERE close). It's like they have this narrative to tear down Afeni, which in turn tears down 2Pac - even if it isn't their intention and unfortunately that's what Delray, Billy, AOD are doing without realizing it.

he claims he did not want Tupac money but he was fighting for control of the Tupac Estate in court versus Afeni Shakur and glows at the one million he got and complained about Afeni giving him one of Tupac's three piece suits because he never imagined it would be worth any money on ebay way back in the 2000s when he got it...
This guy may be Tupac's father but come on folks.. he was not there until the fame and money and how huge Poetic Justice became... this guy reminds me of the father character in Coming to America who did not care about the African Janitor until he discovered he was an African Prince of a wealthy royal house and goverment even if that movie was fictional and comedy...
This guy just tells on himself that he really wants the money and fame and to rub shoulders with the famous.

He has no pictures of him with his son during the first 3 years that he was in Pac's life. Not one. That's very suspect. Also, Delray think he's slick giving Billy all of these softball questions. Billy can go into detail about Afeni gambling, the Shakur family making Pac out to be the outcast of the family, and Afeni lying to Pac but when it comes to where he fell short the only thing he can say is "I could have been around more". "I wasn't stable".
What caused the instability? Were you on drugs yourself sir? What about the family you had at home? Were they why you eventually abandoned your son?

@@AssistantToTheHNIC For the last time, the father that he was speaking on in Dear Mama was Legz. He didn't even know Billy existed until after Dear Mama was created. This is what happens when a man who barely knew his son speaks as if he knows everything about him. With that being said, we still don't know if Billy's truth is the truth because Pac and Afeni are dead.
This I do know and find odd. 1. He said that he was in Pac's life up until he was 3 years old when Afeni ran off with their son. He claims that he asked around and someone said they moved to Baltimore, but Afeni lived with her kids in NYC until Pac was 12. She was working as a paralegal in the Bronx. The only reason why they moved to Baltimore is because they had to go underground to dodge the feds because Mutulu became a fugitive. 2. If Billy was in his life for the first 3 years, where are the pictures of him with Pac as a baby and toddler. The only pictures he has with his son are the prison pictures.
