Dhoruba Bin Wahad on Winning "Panther 21" Case with Afeni Shakur

- Dhoruba Bin Wahad spoke about being involved in the Panther 21 case in the late 1960s in New York, where the members were being accused of planning attacks in the city. Dhoruba explained that there was agents undercover trying to get information on the group who were recording radical statements made by other people they didn't know also agents. He pointed out that the confusing situation led to a case being brought against the group that lasted eight months and was one of the most expensive cases in New York history at the time.
In the end, all 156 charges were dropped against the group, although Dhoruba said that the judge conspired to make the group lose the case. He explained that the judge showed a movie about the Algerian Revolution to the jury, falsely claiming that they used it as a tool to turn people into revolutionaries, which the jury didn't go along with.

Dude wtf. I heard about this story last night in Adam Curtis' new documentary, so I started looking some more. This is insane.
Every black person should research the "cointel program", and propaganda, to understand what you're up against in this society. Most people will listen to him, and think his experiences were just back in the days. Never realizing that things like this still happen today.

Need to get his book, Jamal Joseph describe specifically on how real the infiltration was in the party. The dude who he looked up too and everybody knew he had a reputation for being about his business and willing to shootout with the police ended up being a provocateur. Afeni screamed out loud in the meeting when they found out that she knew he was because he was too much of a hot head. Salute to Dhoruba and all the real panthers that never folded and still incarcerated for loving they're people and doing what's right, meanwhile fascist cops and race soldier who kill innocent black people are still free.

Vlad I salute you. I sometimes get caught in the middle whit your interview selections. Sometimes you have strong black ppl, wise and unflinching but then you get some real dummies where I can't watch the whole interview because I literally get sick. But this dude is very interesting.
