Excellent tutorial! You explained and demonstrated at a perfect pace. You even answered my silent questions as you proceeded. Super well done. I would definitely love to see even more of these creating digitals videos from you. Thank you.
This is such a fabulous tutorial! I watched your other videos when I first started making my own paper. So informative. I would love to see more of these! One question, would you mind sharing where you find your images that are ok for commercial use?
Yes ma’am. I actually mentioned it the first time I recorded this and I lost the video and had to re-record and then I forgot to bring it up again LOL. I get my royalty free images from pixabay.com. Thank you so much for enjoying the videos and stay tuned!
Hi. Thank you for sharing your skill. Is there a article or other reference I can read to figure out what you can and can’t do with images? A couple examples… I love retro kids like from the 50’s like Dock and Jane. I want to create kits, possibly to sell, but when I search images similar to the ones one Etsy, they are copyrighted. How can they use someone else’s work and then copyright it? Is that ok? Also I own several old greeting cards and such, if I scan them to make art am I in violation? Can you/would you be able to point me in the right direction? Thanks.
@@kalinahesskew1314 you can’t copyright what’s not your original artwork; unless you purchase the rights from the artist. And scanning greeting cards and other images from books for example…you can’t do that either unless they are 100 +years old…where the copyright expires … and sometimes it’s different in each country…it’s a complex subject.
Love the video. I’d like to see a video of where you can find these images that are not copyrighted. I’ve seen older videos but there there not up to date. That would be awesome
Hi!! I get my copyright free images from Pixabay! I actually mentioned it when I recorded this initially but lost the video and had to re-record and then forgot to mention it again lol. As long as you aren’t selling your papers, you can use whatever images you want for personal use. Thanks for watching and stay tuned!!
Hi! I created that myself and saved it as a png file (meaning it has a transparent background). Then I can reuse whenever I want and change the color with the hue/saturation tool! Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
This was fun….love your videos.
